Are there any jobs going anywhere?

Has anyone enrolled for next year and knows a bit about the government fee help in terms of study and how the structure works? repayments, interest rates...

Every course has gone up and I cant complete my diploma :( It is now 6,000 - 8,000 $$. No more money for w/l for me.

I too have a close friend that wishes she could study and further her education but with the cost of living these days and no family to support her, her dream is just about impossible.

Thecock that is so sad. We hear everyday that people are putting off education due to costs.
Maybe we could start a thread requesting financial assistance for people like yourself. I am not made of money but I will pledge $100. Good luck xx

In the USA the military has excellent programs that will pay for someone to get a university degree after completing military service. The longer you serve, the more money they give you for school. Typical agreements are 2, 3, and 4 year commitments. A lot of people have improved their situations this way. Does AUS have anything similar?

Two of my cousins are regular army One got to be a qualified sparky through the army and the second is doing his degree through the army so you get the assistance during your tenure not after If he trained to be a doctor for instance I think he had to serve longer than if he did a degree that required shorter training /education time

defence do a return of service obligation.. usually the length of your training plus one year... so a three year degree means you stay kn military for four years after graduation...
