Actually that happened a while ago but I got the first generic version today. Still blue but not a diamond, and cost $18, about time.
 
Good news for men and women everywhere....let's hope they keep an eye on who manufactures it to keep out all the dodgy dealers!
 
I was told they are made in the same factory by the same people, they are exactly the same colour, only round. I had a script for Viagra and these are what the pharmacy offered me, can't wait to try them out.
 
Amazing isn't it? Out of patent the price comes down from $80 to $18.

Still, I suppose Pfizer deserve some financial rerward for developing the drug and getting it through all the legal stuf to finally market it.

Were its made and by who will be on the box almost certainly not Pifizer although Pifizer will eventually
reduce there price of there pill .
 
The 20 year monopoly that patents allow is painful on the wallet But as svengali said there must be some reward or these products would never make the chemists shelf

I wonder how many multi millions are spent on R&D on medical treatments that are never quite right or are failures but still teach the researchers more about the future cure of a disease Money they would never have spent if there was no golden carrot at the end of the tunnel
 
I saw on the latest news that Viagra patent expiry is on 2017. and that any generic available is fake or are not approved. Be careful about its side effects guys!
 
There are several generics of Viagra available, made by different generic companies. Pfizer have also released their own generic (Same pill different box). Other generics may differ shape or colour, but there is no risk of purchasing fake or not approved medications from a pharmacy in Australia. This is only really a risk if you purchase them online.
