Hi everybody
Is this a stopgap measure are we back to the old and friendly forum set up
I for one will be extremely happy if this is the permanent system
 
This version of the forums is tops... The other version was Mother F##king bad. Bad with a capital B
 
I totally understand where everyone's coming from. I have to say that considering it's FREE - I'm glad this forum exists.
 
They say the best things in life are free... The new forum certainly wasn't one of them though.
 
Yes... back in good order.

A 'new' system sometimes means a complete overhaul of not just the insides (coding, programming, etc) but also the outsides in return as well (aesthetics, design, layout, theming, branding, etc). This may or may not be possible within allocated timeframes and/or whether or not new system allow this and that etc.

It must have been a nightmare from LT's end trying to tackle everything at once as part moving with the new upgrade. I work with web devs myself for years and I do understand and believe in that in the world of web dev: nothing is 100% possible & consistent from what goes on from our heads onto our screen :(.

Kudos and my hats off for the admins & IT folks nonetheless for at least making an attempt in revamping the forum; at least it's the thought that counts.
 
Ahoy, roll out the Rum barrel;---they are giving it a great try, but, stick to what works, if you wish a wonderful service then you stick with a mature , professional W/L. Cheers and Pass the Rum
 
Thank god for the return of the old forum was just about to jump shop and find some new friends on PP

Yes it is Punter planet and I got to agree with you Col. Last few days I just been hanging out on Thai dreaming instead while this mess was sorted out.

Col! What on EARTH made you look at a complete dog's breakfast? Have you also seen half a dog's breakfast as opposed to a complete dog? What if you went metric and saw 0.5 of it - would be a dc instead of a dog? Doggone it!
 
Well if Margaret Thatcher designed a hooker website it would be like PP or our new forum... Utter chaos
 
LOL.....come on guys, change is good. Apparently it keeps us young (mmmmmmm Mr.Happy2.......what do you have to say to the 'young' bit?) ;)
But then again.......to appreciate the old style we sometimes have to put up with a new style.........yeah......happy the forum is back to the "old style" :)

change is definitely good but not when it creates utter chaos with not much improvements.
 
The new one would not even let me send a PM even after several attempts. I nearly pulled the pin altogether it was so frustrating. Glad we are back to "normal". Please do not tinker with it again!
