Donald Trump has appeared on the cover of Playboy. The First Lady Melania Trump has had tastefully nude photoshoots.

The Trump administration is taking on porn with a new bill. The new bill proposes that depiction of nudity or sexual activity that “lacks serious literary, artistic, political, or scientific value” be banned. And any content with “actual or simulated sexual acts with the objective intent to arouse, titillate or gratify the sexual desires of a person” would be outlawed.

I personally think it’s a great way to end Revenge Porn & Porn without consent and the casualties of Porn.

I also personally dislike anything that limits the freedom of humans to express themselves in any safe and consensual way including porn.

How far is too far with Donald Trumps new bill and how would people feel if free porn sites or production companies were shut down by this bill?

This bill is very unlikely to pass congress and it's not actually related to Trump. The bill was proposed by Republican congressman Mike Lee from Utah; home of the Mormons.

The USA has very stringent rules around freedom of speech and they have been tested at the Supreme Court level many times specifically related to pornography. An identical bill has been proposed in Congress in previous years and has not even gotten enough co-signers to be able to go to a vote.

She has been exposing Pornhub, owned by a Rabbi (FFS) for profiting from child porn, trafficked underage victims, secetly recorded people etc and then refusing and or stalling the removal of the images for as long as possible. I don't think they have to take down secretly recorded stuff. I haven't seen any child porn on porn hub. Child porn is very rare on other sites and gets taken down. I have gathered but not certain that unless you're looking for child porn you won't come across much if any.

I personally could not care less if porn was outlawed. There's pros and cons. One of the biggest pros is to eliminate the easy access young kids have to porn. It's alarming how easy they can get it, and it's creating a huge problem with young people in relationships

I understand that a 10 year old having access to porn is not acceptable. But how is porn causing a huge problem with young people in relationships exactly? Your allegation is very generic/unspecific and probably not credible.

Porn addiction is when the person has to have porn and would do allmost anything to get it sort of thing which is probably not that common. You are bad mouthing porn without a credible argument and your argument appears to be generic. You're being very very unfair in my opinion.

There are many victims who were raped on film, and that content was available to premium members even as the victims were tryimg to get the videos removed. They were clearly monetising rape, child porn etc. They had only a couple of staff reviewing 10s of thousands of videos on purpose. Also, of course their paying clients were looking for and finding CP, that was rhe market. This isn't hearsay, there are thousands of victims, class action lawsuits and criminal charges.

Such sites as Pornhub rely on people reporting exploitive material but I can't see that happening as much as it should.

You've answered your own question then. Porn is okay when used responsibly. I acknowledge that. I'm no angel, that's why I'm on here. I watch porn and visit WLs. When something so good is so easy to obtain, there are bound to be many people getting addicted... like drugs, easy to obtain, many people addicted. Young relationships are prone to young husbands/wives who've grown up with all the porn they can digest. I saw a psychologist talking about how young people go into relationships with unrealistic expectations because of porn. They think their married life is like a porno, and it creates problems that I'm not going to go into. Use your imagination.

Porn definetly gives an inaccurate depiction of sex. They were saying on the radio I think it was that high schoolers were choking eachother like in porn or something and that was causing problems. I haven't seen any choking in porn though.

At least we can both agree that porn is a problem when it becomes an addiction. I would like to see it somehow banned for kids under 18, but I really don't know how they'd enforce it. I don't know if there's a way without everyone having digital IDs, or having to upload personal identification documents. I think having to go to those extremes to watch porn might just kill the industry.

Masturbation addicts just masturbate all day like 10-20 times a day. Some would see masturbation addiction as a mental illness. The police arrest people and take them to the psychiatric hospital locked ward. Locked ward means the patients can't escape. I mean it easier for mental health service in regard to ending phone calls and meetings with complainants by saying they are going to medicate or are medicating.
