You are thinking paywave tap and go that will be reversed if client goes Pay ID is card inserted in the phone by bank approval and is safe no pin number required sometimes signature is required for overseas Pay ID its same as Apple Pay

It really can be reversed. Some banks hold the first pay ID payment for 24hrs incase you've sent it to the wrong person, once you've sent payid to that person before it then becomes instantaneous going forward.

I use payID a lot and never had any problems with it or my clients reverse the money. I have registered business name and business account. So my clients pay me through ABN (they also wont see my real name, only my business name). Once they send you the money, ask them to take a screenshot and send it to you. And check if the money comes through or not. I also use square eftpos machine (but only offer to use it if they dont bring cash/if its really urgent and dont do transaction more than $150( i usually use eftpos for extras)

Once final authorisation has been completed, your payment cannot be cancelled.

However, in some cases ANZ can ask the receiving bank to return funds sent to unintended recipients. Our ability to do this may depend on how long ago the transaction took place. We are generally only able to assist in cases of user error if the payment is made from a personal account (rather than a business account).
 
Just on the thought of cash safety etc, while at the casino my then girlfriend had someone skim her card which was in her handbag. Must of brushed by and skimmed it. When we were walking to the car park she had a phone alert from her bank stating an online purchase had just been made. She locked her card immediately and contacted the bank who reimbursed her. RF blocking devices are good for stopping skimming.
 
To reverse or dispute a payment. It's as simple as the person ringing their bank and claiming error. In all honesty it is not worth the risk. I know of a lady who did a group booking. Worth a few thousand dollars. PayID, the men showed her the receipt. When she looked at her account the next day. No funds in her account. It's becoming such an issue that Escort and Babes now mentions for ladies not to use it
 
Yeah...this is safe but I also prefer cash or card
