This is a question I had saved to my Talking sex file sometime ago and thought I'd like to hear your opinions about as this subject will be raised on "Talking Sex" when we go to air next year.May-Anne

I was wondering if someone could answer a question that's on my mind. I am not interested in reading any abusive/judgemental answers, so if you feel that way, fair enough, but pls don't reply to this.

I am new to this, and have been doing a bit of research on the net about swinging. It seems as though there is an unfair bias towards bisexual women, and that bisexual men are still not really accepted, even amongst such liberal minded sexually active people. I don't know if this is a fair comment, but I visited one West Aussie site that stated that the majority of swingers, everywhere, would prefer not to have male/male activities going on at clubs/parties. Is this so? I find the idea discrimminatory, especially considering there has been no general veto on anal sex, and that men engaging in same sex activities do not all engage in anal sex anyway.

I am not being discrimminated against, since I am female, but I am disturbed nevertheless. Any comments of a positive/explanatory/opinion nature would be gratefully received.

I think your right and I dont know why... I personally dont feel threatened or uptight about male to male sex play its just something that personaly I have no attractiom that way.But I have a few bi and gay friends both male and female and have noticed that while its almost trendy to be a bi female some people still attach a stigma toward bi guys in the swinging scene. I look forward to reading others imput to explain why? As the swinging crowd is normally more accepting than the general population it seems odd that there is this double standard.
I find watching a hetro sexual couple having sex a turn on and also threesomes with at least one woman a turn on and lesbian action is also attractive to me but the common denomanater is the presence of a female form.Perhaps its just the female form appeals to more people both male and female?
 
It seems every club is unique in there preference but what I have observed is there is more of an openess to engaging in bi-sexual activities with a married male rather than a single male. So couples are interested in a couples on couples scenario...and whatever variation of sexual acts come from that.
I think couples are often more interested in couples as it is more of an equal level, both are taking similiar risks, where as a single person has less to lose in regards to a partnership. If they have preference to a single person, yes it is more so female.

Interesting question.

I myself have no problem with 2 or more males participating in same gender sex at a club ( if the venue is a adult club not a night club in the middle of Perth lol ) as I see those clubs as a place for everyone male or female to be them self's sexually, to exclude bi sexual males from a venue would be at least hypocritical at most discrimatory.
As a straight male I can see the point of most people looking for bi sexual females as that is seen as most males ultimate fantasy, where as 2 males and a female is usually ( dare I say it lol ) a compromise, a way of getting a mff threesome, there are obviously some exceptions to the rule and I know of plenty of couples that find satisfaction from a mmf.
If I was to walk into a club that openly supported same gender sex, LP’s or Club Oz are example’s then I couldn’t be offended if I was to see 2 males having fun as that is to be expected in that environment.

I would say that, generally, female homosexuality is much more accepted than male.

If I saw two girls walking down the street holding hands and getting a bit touchy feely I would be surprised but not particularly offended. Substitute two men and my reaction would be "eeewww!!! take it home".

Looking at it objectively it is not fair or logical, just the way my brain is wired up but I think that view would be the majority one. I have no hangups about homosexuality - in my work I deal regularly with several men who I know are gay and that knowledge makes no difference at all to the way I treat them.

Gay men generally seem to know how to behave around straight people without giving offence in most social settings but I would imagine that a swingers club would be whole different ballgame. I guess that, like any bar or nightclub, there would have to be rules which everyone understood and followed. If the house allowed gay male couples then anyone who found that offensive would be obliged to look the other way or stay at home.

I think the bias is because of straight men’s consumption of girl on girl pornography, which sometime's a lot different to what would actually happen in a lesbian relationship, but is made especially for the heterosexual male market. And the fantasy of men thinking that two women would love to please him at the same time and that his presence would make them more aroused. So the idea of bi sexual woman is more talked about and more accepted.

For male bi sexuality to become more accepted females can start watching more male on male pornography, some made for the female market would be great, you know three somes and great looking guys, lusting after our everyday bodies and doing the cleaning for us. And for the general female population to start thinking and talking about how a threesome with 2 males could really add to her pleasure. Just a suggestion.

I think it's also because some males are too scared to admit that they have a MM fantasy. Where as I am comfortable with my sexuality and in a couples senario I don't mind MM contact as long as the other party is not too pushy. I don't mind giving / reciving head but only occasionally want anal sex. I suppose I'm more dominant in that I'd rather be on top :-X I still have the odd urge to be penertrated but mostly give.

I find that woman are more open and seem free to express their desires without any sigma being attached.

in my opinion (thanx for asking for it hehe) - I must say that we (our society along with most others) do discrimante. We can't help that - it's human nature. However, as outlined above by other members: homosexuality in males is still frowned apon generally speaking; and in time this opinion is slowly changing.

boy - it's good though when you're in a comfortable environment where acceptance, trust and mutual respect are a given... allowing everybody involved to be loving.
 
My wife and I had a few nights with one of our female friends, It was always enjoyable at the time, but the wife usually went very quiet the next day, and would take a few days to get over it. I recently introduced my wife to a young male friend of mine and suggested to her that it might be fun to have a play around with him. I had never thought of having any sort of male involvement as the idea was foreign to me, and not overly appealing, but I did it for my wife, I have now discovered that I actually enjoy having another male involved, and my wife loves it. I don't think that I would ever do more than just oral with a guy, but as I said it was heaps of fun. I think people need to experience it themselves, then they may open up a little, and realise that it is still sex and can be a turn on.

ithink it is an interesting text,idont know why its unfair,but ithink its came from the society itself,the society dosn't agree or disagree because it want so,but its came after the people start to be familiar about something..so its became known to them,and it thy dosn't like another thing considering that it may be related to the first one...so you never know why,its just suddenly became a fact
so ijust wonder why the society likes something for no reason and hate another...!!!!!

Not sure about that so much nowadays so much double penetration porn online. Ho we ever I don't ever see these same guys even look at one and other.. that is pretty strange.
