If You Stopped Creating the Relationship, Would It Still Exist?

Master Yoda shares a real case study when a massage-shop booking starts to feel real on emotional attachment, intermittent affection, and the one question every customer should ask.

Such a beautiful thought. ❤️ A real relationship isn’t something one person should have to keep creating alone it should be nurtured, chosen, and felt by both hearts. When the effort becomes mutual, love feels effortless. ✨

That line, "If you’re disappearing to make someone chase you, you’re still chasing them," hits hard. It’s easy to mistake active maintenance for mutual effort in any relationship — a powerful reminder to stop over-analysing and let reality speak for itself.

I haven't read the blog, but. It is wise to remember if sex worker goes for the emotional hook, very close to all the time if not all the time, they just want money. Their are some women that aren't just after money but looking to help but that is rare as far as I know. Maybe the 10% of people that have 75% of the worlds personal wealth, care. Your average sex worker only care's about themself.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I think you might find the article interesting if you get a chance to read it. It doesn’t argue that money isn’t part of the equation — of course it is. It’s more about what we might miss when we assume money explains everything before we’ve looked at the individual person or situation. You may still disagree with me afterwards, and that’s completely fine. But I’d be interested to hear what you think once you’ve read what I was actually trying to say. 😊

Ok so I read it. Sounds like Joey was in love. Needed to be told love for a sexual partner is the emotional aspect of his mating instinct so he got over it. Perhaps a good path would have been to tell the sex worker he wanted a relationship outside of sex work and either get cut off or a flourishing relationship instead of Joey being left wondering.

I was in love with a woman that I hadn't been physically intimate with and she didn't want to give me attention until after we were psychically intimate I think. But I found out the love I felt was just the emotional aspect of my mating instinct and I have gotten over it and she is canned as being too old for me now. Person's interfered in my life and our relationship didn't work out or end up getting physicially intimate.

Thanks for taking the time to actually read it and share your thoughts. I appreciate that. I’ve put myself through versions of this more than once over the years, and I learned a lot from the bruises along the way. I don’t think there’s one simple answer that fits every person or every relationship, but learning when to read the room, when to ask the question, and when to accept what reality is showing you has been a big part of it for me.

Quite a few people have spoken to me privately one-on-one about these things over the years, often because they don’t feel comfortable talking about them publicly. That’s really one of the reasons I wrote the Joey and Gina piece. Not because I think I have all the answers, but because sometimes seeing somebody else wrestle with the same questions helps.

Thanks again for reading it and for adding your own experience to the conversation.

No one size fits all, agreed.
