As a hypothetical question, if you were the owner of a massage parlour what would you do differently from a punter's point of view. This is considering that most are a copy of each other.
To start I would like a proper receptionist.
 
Id like it to appear legit on the surface.. look somewhat like a legit place but advertised here.

I like it when the tables sheet is replaced or atleast stripped while im getting dressed after the massage.

Itd be good to have normal massage place music like the sound of water and rain or soft flutes.. always get put off by romamtic music lol

Id also like to not be harrassed for saying no to extras.. after a one hand push, pull massage with the therapist on the phone and no tease, i dont want to be harrassed when i politely decline extras

After working at many shops, I would want to make sure there is enough space in the room, showers/toilets, enclosed rooms
each with their own aircond..
If I had enough money, yes a full time receptionist.
I have installed emergency buttons in the rooms, cctv cameras with remote screens in each room, supplied pepper spray to workers.
Anything legally to protect the workers is a must!
 
I like the fact you included emergency buttons and pepper spray for security for the ladies this was great to read!

If I could add anything it would def be enclosed rooms & shower facilities I hate not having access to showers and I hate hearing other people and that's me having a legit massage so I can imagine it would be super distracting trying to enjoy the extras 🤣

Added a pillow top king size bed... with nice pillows.
 
I would building into my Pirate Facility........
A large;- Spas and a large Sauna, as well there would be a fully stocked Rum Bar and a small dine-in menu.
A introduction to all our fabulous highly trained massage ladies and the variety of massage services.
Large rooms and shower facilities plus Club-Membership, with a reward points given to members.
No Flashing Lights instead, a Jolly Roger Flag indicating we are open for business.

Do some AMPs actually have cctv in the massage room? That's a bridge too far and i doubt it would be legal. Presumably the AMP would be required to obtain the customer's consent to being recorded while doing the deed (who knows where digital media potentially can end up on social media or worse). I'm not sure the ladies would be happy with that either.

Yes, plus ensure there is a 10 minute gap between customer bookings as this will allow the girl to have a quick break between innings & ensure that everyone gets their full 30 or 60 minute "massage". This break should stop bosses barking at girls still in the room, that customer is waiting in another room.

I have attached the relevant act which states an optical surveillance device (CCTV) cannot be installed to view a 'private activity'. Also the act states that any surveillance system installed at private/public facilities must also be installed by a professional who is licenced by the Police. So just because you can pick up the stuff from an electronics store it doesn't mean you can install it.

Found a place in Bali with a hospital, jail cell, school room and something else
Chose room of choice then met the girls and chose which outfits for them to wear.
Nurse, school girl, etc.

Very good initiative and heaps of fun.
More realistically also would like showers in the rooms, more space, change all sheets and insulated walls
 
I would teach the WL the art of small talk and gentle teasing! Drive the man insane with constant teases and then make him EXPLODE.

I would increase the price slightly to cover the time, but when the client books for an hour, give him 75 minutes. That way, it never feels rushed.
 
Really depending on what kind of shop you want to run: Legit, Legit with a little extras, Extras no FS or FS. That would make a big different management for the shop.

I have been asked to install security cameras (or even spy cameras) into the rooms, I have always flat out declined to do it. Its just wrong!
They only need to cover the entry/exit/reception in the shop. Most shops will use this as a idea on how many customers have come/gone and the times they have been onsite.
Yes, I'm licensed and insured to do this work.

Make sure its in a council friendly area.
Shower in each room, but requires council approval and could be difficult with some dick head councils.

The model fails Mostly as unlike venues such as Langtrees, Esquires, Foxy’s, Hany’s, you have to accept what you get rather than choose What you’d like. First weakness.

Having rolled the dice, things don’t work out, due to your (potentially) unrealistic expectations or the fact that the SW is not willing to participate to that extent it goes wrong for both participants.

Poor privacy (curtains WTF?), cramped conditions, unwelcoming shared experiences (listening to someone getting more value than you are) which may or may not impact on you.

Mostly don’t even waste my time with these places as they are shit IMHO


Thats why I’d never operate one.

My observation is that they open & close like used car dealers in Vic Park, but I accept that certain advertisers on here have been around for a while.
However the vagueness that I’ve experienced when asking what’s on offer leads me to the same conclusion unfortunately.

I welcome contradicting views nonetheless which I’m sure will follow😃👍 this post.

Maybe it meant CCTV cameras pointing at the doors and CCTV monitors in the rooms. I think it would not be acceptable to have CCTV cameras in the rooms.

just realised the emergency buttons would be for the girls - I really have been very lucky to have never needed one so didn’t think... I thought you meant the clients would need an emergency button ... 🤣

I’ve never been to a parlour, Maybe one day a client and I will go to a parlour and I’ll see how the other side operates. Until then. No comment and the emergency button - great idea (for the girls).
