I have plenty to comment. Of course. But for the sake to remain myself with my own thoughts without getting bombarded over @ youtube; I'd rather not.

I'll summarise it as this and I've said this more often than necessary - under so many hands of those who are lazy, social media is inevitably anti social. Each and every day - we are discounting and shortcutting the physical meaning of communication. Sad, but our substantial worth to someone else's is measured by how affluent we are in technological context of status levels and numbers.

Speaking as someone working in the creative industry (with conscience) - I am not surprised of the damage already done by this new corporatocracy we known today as social media.

Rather, I am relieved that this vid proves it more than what it's worth not for today, but for generations to come.

I am glad that I've re-started my social media from scratch far, far away from trying to "look" for a friend. Or status seeking by numbers. I promote only what I believe my creativity can create through my own branding and concept projects.

I'm afraid we're heading towards a muted form of social language. And I believe it will only get worse. Thx for sharing that vid yoda.

How many of you have also had a person collide with you in the mall for instance because the were head down typing on the phones keyboard With no idea whats going on around them?
And rarely a word of apology either So you sometimes ending up saying sorry as you feel at least someone should

"look up" isn't that an advert for Google Glasses? :p

It's pretty bad when you go out or catch up with friends and everyone is busy on their phones,,it's actually quite rude...Maybe it keeps people up to date on information and news,,but the beautiful views, flowers, people, and everyday blessings are just passed by because everyone is staring into the palm of their hand.:(

"Look up" Is what you are supposed NOT to do when on a escalator and a girl in front and above you is wearing a short skirt But...

What about those silly pub conversations that can go on for hours Who is the best Bond girl Who's the best player to play for.. etc Now there is nearly always someone who pulls out their phone
Googles the question plonk the phone down with the answer and just kill the chat

I believe humans are just adapting to have the power of information a their fingertips.

To be without it will be devastating. .... yet to abuse I like we do will create newly developed shortfalls.

Balance will be established in time........

Soon you will have people google walking into you with them google glasses. They look straight at ya but still bum into ya...like no one is driving the vehicle.

Yes google glasses with be the next major interface.

And it will have an impact in regards to the original topic here.
