It is what it is, a demand that this stereo-typical male run world needs. If there wasn't much hate towards women sleeping around. WL's would not have existed, and women would be more open to sexual relations. (Next door neighbours wife, Girlfriend, work college...ect) As sex is a physical need. Instead of being labelled in a bad way.

But Humans can't differentiate between Love and sex. So hate, jealously and insecurity run the world today.
 
Yes, a strange question indeed for this forum - clearly looking for a bite.

There is a strong argument to be made that the sex industry serves an important function in society, just like other service industries - eg doctors and psychiatrists.

HookPsy what really caught my eye from your reply was: “It is what it is”.
I’m finding myself using that exact quote more and more these days.
I have no energy in finding rational, explanation for what goes on around me.
Now I just chill and release a sighed “It is what it is”.
Feels like the best response to a complex world.
 
People can do what they want as that’s the beauty of choice and it being legal helped with crime rate and STDs.
If it’s something someone doesn’t like that’s fine but their opinion are theirs and theirs alone and should be kept to themselves.

Yeah, as in one of Dylan's songs, you can be a preacher or a sinner but either way you're gonna have to serve somebody.

The question in the title says "the prostitution" not "prostitution" in a more general sense.

There is a specific instance of prostitution that the OP is wanting our opinion on. He has given us a few hints.

Firstly, "the prostitution" is a past tense, something that has already happened.

Secondly, he states "ate" in the initial post. There are been a specific instance of prostitution where someone got "ate". I hope this is a reference to cunninglingus and not sexual cannibalism (but I don't judge either way).

Thirdly, the username contains "Jarhead" which is slang for the Marines. Perhaps, "the prostitution" is soldiers (in general) having sold their body for the government to use in war, instead of selling it for a punter to use at call. Both forms of prostitution are equally respectable.

Finally, the sentence ends with "support" and not "support it". Clearly, he wants to know if we are against "the prostitution" or support.......something.

We have a real mystery on our hands. 🤔
