Helping Carmen with her phone I was amazed at how many clients request a text photo. At the cost of sending photos I am curious if the privates get a good return on sending photos via text or are they just looking for play material.

In my 6 yrs experience, guys wanting you to send them pics via mms are just looking for free wank material and have no intention of making bookings. Especially where you already have images on the net - not sure how this would apply to those that dont have images in their adds. Mostly however it goes along the line "hi can you send me a pic" then it escalates to " have you got any sexy shots or nude pics"

As a client, I've never asked for a picture via phone. If someone wants to send them out for whatever reason, it might be worth investigating phones that can email pictures. I know mine has that functionality, and it's essentially free if you have a $5/month data plan, at least with Virgin.

I agree with you on that one Amy. My phone i use for the WL side of things doesn't have that function on it anyway sometimes you can even get ppl trying to send you mms pics as well.

I only just started advertising in the paper recently and had a majority of guys asking for a picture via the phone.....i had a couple of bookings out of it so i can't say it has'nt worked but then the freak show normally rolls into town........:tearyeyed
as a punter i would like to know the looks of a w/l before i make a booking , and as Angelina private mentioned above that she has sent pics via mms to protenal clients and it has payed off thus far but in saying this the creeps will start to pour in very soon

Sorry but i agree with maryanne's comment on COST!!! If i sent a pic msg (which i cant on my phone anyway) to everyone requesting one... I would spend $50 a wk on MMS alone.
I offer the no obligation meet at the beginning of a booking....for incalls not outcalls that is (i have to cover travel costs)
When I did send mms (from my old phone) not a single genuine booking ensued... most just responded with attempts at phone sex (via sms). I also dont correspond via sms so its kinda a no brainer

Welll Macey its possibly cause the clients are not intrested in you.. I would like to see the girl before i pay her and i will not ve willing 2 waste time travveling 2 a gals place and seeing shes not up to my expecttaions.. if you know know i mean... Probbaly you are a hot gal, bt peoples tastes differ..
Some times really ugly asian gals advertise at above market rates and clients think they are good lookers cause of the way the speak on the phone and the higher rates makes the client think that the gal will be better than the others cause of high price.. when when seen the gal looks old and tattered... WL is a service and is a profession so clients should get what they want...
U get probably get 200 to 500 dollars per hour service and theres nuthin wrong in sparing 5 from that to send an mms.

In regards to replying by sending a photo. I REFUSE to even answer my phone!
Nobody has EVER SPOKEN to me on the phone to make a booking except by first leaving a voicemessage, and then me replying by SMS.
Thats what works for me.

because when you advertise you quickly realise you need to screen the response protocol.
i soon tired of supplying 'free' phone sex to callers who had no intention to actually book my services, when i could hear them 'slapping' in the background as they breathed heavily their "tell me more' requests down the phone line.
i can imagine the same would be applied for photo requests. Wanking material - Geez - go buy a magazine!
so dont bitch about the girl trying to keep her expenses down through her own personal business choice. her time is just as valuable as yours. she makes a genuine living just like you. try and show some respect. she doesnt judge you for the way you earn your living.
anything less is just poor form
its not rocket science to figure out that a business entity might want to run efficiently rather than wastefully. and each business has the right to operate in the way that best suits them.

i have never asked for a girls pic over the phone but sure have had some disappointments when arriving at the girls place.from memory i have only walked away once as its very embarrasing to say sorry your not what you described to me,some guys probably dont have a problem with that but i have read a nmb of posts where the guy feels obligated to go ahead with the booking.as whats said above its not as easy as you think just to say to a girl sorry you are too big ect.so you offer a no obligation service sure,but it doesnt always work like that.so to me this is why a site like this one with REAL pics makes the punter awhole lot happier.for look a like pics you mite as well have none as most of the time there nothing like it.i dont see whats the problem with putting a pic of yourself on a site,either blur out your face or just a bac pic is better than none.if your worried about being recognised its hard when your face is blurred out and what do you do when someone knocks on your door and you know them and they have no idea you do this for a job???

LoL at trail blazers comments. Al I ud do is laff at your face. Its the clients right to wish to see what he pays for at the time of booking. Its just like any other service he pays for and WL/escorting is a profession and the person doing the job should try to be profesional at what she does.

you know you dont leave much encouragement to the real punter.you must have a few regulars,as im sure i wouldnt go by some text msg.how does that give you an idea that a guy is genuine??also what do you do if i was to reply to your text,tell me to go to spot x then text again or give your adress the 1st time you text you?i can understand your reasoning about bogus phone calls but unfortunately thats something that happens in many companies.dont you think a pic on a website like this one and it doesnt need to show your face a far better way to get yourself out there so punters know what they are paying for to save alot of embarrassment.if you had a profile on here guys could contact you by email as well if you dont want to use the phone as you may be busy.seems to be the problem betwen the real punter who just wants an honest opinion of who he is seeing,and the ladies that have had bad experiences with phone calls.to me anyway and im not everybody it just seems awhole lot easier to get on a site like this one.i think you would find 99% of enquires would be for real.this is only my thoughts and i may not be right just makes sense to me.dont mean to offend you in any way;D ps also with text msg you always know the punters mobil nmb,look what happened to the other guy who saw a lady by text,luckily he said he uses a different phone for booking girls.what about the guy thats married who wants to keep his nmb discreet? and was to get a msg like that which the wife picked up.it wouldnt bother me as im single.what gets me though why does everybody have to use mobils?whats wrong with the old telephone,its cheap,you can call the punter bac on most occasions if its not a private nmb.thats how i have booked most of the girls i have seen as escorts,just a thought,and i was always asked if they can ring bac to confirm the booking and chat for an hour at times s.......:

Trailblazer does advertise on the web it's not to hard to find her site if you do a bit of research. I might add that Jim Beam has never looked so good!!! From what I can gather & I think I've been reliably informed she is one of the best private operators in Perth....
I can understand why a lot of girls don't send pics via the phone. Having spent a bit of time off the clock with a popular private, it's a real eye opener as to the amount of weird & wacky messages they receive. Don't forget they do this for a living & over time would figure out a strategy that works best for them & they feel most comfortable operating within.

Guys you have to realise you are genuine clients, answering phones the last two weeks, there must be 1000 blokes in perth that spend all day ringing private operators wanking them around making bookings with no intention to arrive.
I personally am not text friendly, and find the 20 text enquiries daily more frustrating.
Trailblazer comments are very valid but only work for a well organised established working lady.
A new lady hoping to attract clients has to look at all options of what works and what dosen't.
I personally think that the lady should have several web profiles, but then I am biased.
The fact is you have 50% chance of organising a genuine booking from a web profile, whereas you have to answer 20 calls from a west add to make one booking that you get to tired to deliver the service.
The reason is the "cost" the lady can put so limited info and we are even banned from putting web address.
I haven't worked phones personally for over 5 years, I would say that their are twice as many false calls since mobiles than we used to get.
Shortly we are going to offering a sourcing service for clients Australia wide, where they can ring or email and we can text the info or email the links to ladies that are working that day.
This will happen when I achieve 300 advertisers on Langtrees.com. which should be around April. This gives me time to set up the phone room and organise the agents.
This service can not be offered for FREE, clients will have to be members of Langtrees.com and the Fee will probably between$10-$20 per enquiry.
Already I get enquires and phone calls from all over Australia, and Live Help enquires asking me who was available. its 5 am I and just had to stop to answer a enquiry from melbourne.

Working girls who do want to offer an MMS service should check out the Virgin Topless plan. For $99 a month, it's got free unlimited (within reason) calls, SMS and MMS to anyone in Australia. They have a "no commercial use" clause but as long as you don't go crazy it would probably be a cheaper option. No contract either, it's a month-to-month thing.
