Excuse my ignorance but what'$ the difference between what we are doing now and this chatroom thingy?
 
Ahoy Bro Col;-You can directly chat with someone else, if you wish to. In my case becouse I am miles away, it works for me. saves on phone calls
 
So we could talk about ships, rum and wenches then... In real time?

Can't say I'm happy with the new site.... colour makes it a bit hard to see items about the place. Maybe, like the desktop, we could choose what colour we want individually. ......... NOTE Bloody spell check doesn't know how to spell colour....... bloody Yanks

I can't edit either. The chatroom is blank, A few teething issues I guess:confused:
 
Love the new site, but is there still content coming over? The search doesn't seem to work when looking for old posts and posts that members have done.

My posts seemed to be called messages now, am I missing something?

Sorry Holford, The search was another permissions issue but it's all fixed now... Hopefully
 
Well its different! Still trying to find where things have gone! Trying the other colour scheme too.
not sure about it yet :(
