Are there any other w/l finding their neck and shoulders consistently sore from giving oral so often??
I've been having lower back pains for a while now too from doggy position too :(

Any tips on dealing with these issues other than dosing up on pain killers?

If I was there it would be a deal :)... hope you work out a solution though, lower back problems aren't a good thing. The only advice I can give is going to the gym and doing lots of lower back strengthening exercises. It's what I do for mine and it definitely helps - :)
 
Call me left wing but......my friends call me 1Chat, I would be looking at the bed you sleep on at home!.....I do a LOT of heavy lifting for my job, the kind that can give you hemmeroids, and happily I can say none of it are weights, me=no back problems...........yet, touch wood! Possibly there could be a prior Injury from sport being aggrivated. Hanging from monkey bars, or something similar and going through the twist motion, then hanging......if this didn't help, I would go for an xray and see if some cartlidge or if a disk is damaged.
 
Yeah i had the worse lower back pains last week from going back to work after a long break. I once had my sciatica nerve pinch after a busy weekend at work. Fun... not lol
 
As one with long-term neck and back problems I can empathise with you and offer some useful ( I hope ) suggestions.

For starters - how do you tackle a B.J.? If you are kneeling or crouching between the guy's legs and bending forward you are stretching your neck back almost to its limit and if you hold that pose for more than a few minutes it will give you grief. Necks are flexible but holding them anywhere other than straight for prolonged periods is wrong and they won't take it well. That is why the height of your computer monitor and your car's steering wheel are so critical. You can play as vigorously as you like and get away with it but don't hold one position for too long.

Try hovering over your victim so that your neck is flexing forward rather than backwards - with a bit of luck he will return the favour at the same time. Otherwise position him near the edge of the bed and kneel on the floor or lay side by side facing each other. If you feel the strain building in your neck change positions. Occupational Health recommends not spending too long at any particular task to avoid repetitive strain injuries and it applies equally well to your profession.

Finally, find a good chiropractor. The Wellness clinic in Walcott Street near William Street is great and Les and his team will straighten you out in no time. They will also give you a lot of helpful hints about looking after your spine which you could pass on to your fellow workers.

Have a long bath or go get a thai massage in Vic Park, I go all the time there... You'll feel great but probably won't want to go to work straight after.
 
honestly I have back pains all the time physio is the best and also acupuncture
 
I use the trick of a RADOX bubble bath at least once a week, I suffer from posture and back problems from showjumping and constantly have to remember to straighten my back... if it doesn't go away maybe a new mattress or take a trip to the doctor....
 
Now if we just go back a few years

I'm feeling the same pains from giving head, my jaw is also killing me
