Since we have a wide group of people on board n anything is free to discuss here..i would like to ask
does anyone know where i cam get ..harissa paste
it is meant to be a hot chillie paste used for cooking
ive tried the local supermarkets to no avail

Whereabouts are you? I know that certain IGA, Coles and Woolies have it. I got a tube of Le Phare du Cap Bon harissa paste from Kakulas Brothers in Northbridge. Any African-style grocers around?

thanks for the reply chibi, im in dianella went thru coles i/wood n w/worths morley but couldnt find it....IGA mt lawley was going to b my next stop
i got a recipie out of those womens mags n this paste is part of the recipie
 
And if real lazyGet ot online from the spice library
Though my offsiders wife generally makes it from scratch Homemade harissa has
been known to prodice a nice sheen of sweat on the upper lip and forehead
The variety sold at Spice library is made in perth

Went to coventry markets found the spice market n bought a tube of harissa paste
now its up to My kitchen rules to bring sbout a restuarant revelolution on the hot plate with my culinary expertise;)
 
Check out the spice mixes he has in the big jars, I used the fish one and the jerk chicken one the other day, he's got a few good recipes under his sleeve.

Yeah i questioned him bout another ingredient which i saw on his website after i clicked on that link u sent actually he was quite chuffed that i saw his website
