People that believe in climate change will continue to protest and march continuously and make more noise over this issue. We have an arrogant, out of touch PM who does not believe in climate change and since the LNP have been in government no action has been taken on climate change. Selling carbon credits by shifting pollution overseas is not taking action, it is climate change denial.

Australian bush fires are clear proof climate change is real. It is a shame that Climate change denier ScoMo and the LNP government do not believe and will not implement policies that will take action on climate change. Climate change is real and we need more people like Greta to speak out about the corrupt governments destroying our Planet and ruining our future.

It is best to ignore the climate change deniers out there and not engage in their denial. Alan Jones, Andrew Bolt, right wing media and the right politicians are climate change deniers

You are a bit confused Stove , who is buying and selling Carbon credits?

Zero Carbon Emissions is a realistic and obtainable goal when the climate change believers get into government and implement the policies to make it happen. Banning plastics, banning cars, banning fossil fuels and shifting over to 100% renewables is a realistic goal and obtainable.
Just imagine a Zero Carbon Emission world! What a great world that would be to live, clean air, carbon emission free paradise! Corrupt conservative governments run by Baby Boomers will never allow it to happen. Only future generations can make it happen and try to reverse the damage done by the Baby Boomers.

will we be driving solar, wind or hydro powered cars? I personally want a geo thermal one. It will have to have a deep boot though.

How about a methane powered one?
We can’t. New world order will see the use of all farm animals and their byproducts banned. it could tip the planet over the edge with the overpopulation of them. Luckily we will also run out of water so that should cull the numbers.

sorry. It’s been a big week on social media with all the fires.
Interesting fact.
Did you know that 98% of Twitter users are climate change experts?

Who are Australia's females? In 2018, there were 12.6 million females in Australia—just over half (51%) of the country's population. Overall, there were 101.6 females for every 100 males (ABS 2018a

Do you know the real costs on making every business zero emission is? Realistically? Lets start with oil that can't be processed cleanly to stop CO2 from coming out of cars so no more cars, no gas, no electricity. We don't have a hydro dam here in Oz and building solar and wind turbines won't cut the amount of power each house hold is demanding. The batteries aren't produced cleanly either so that'll have to go, probably but lucky to have a decent battery to power a mobile phone(Brick phones remember those) cleanly processed. And do you know recycling takes twice amount of $$ to process?

So to produce these fantastic ideal result each household will have to at least fork out 10-20k so the bills you have now just think of it as peanuts compared to the ideal world. And rich ppl will be the only ones rich enough to afford cars still where as us folks will be bicycling around.

But hey if you want to eat processed soya meat for 50 buck per 100grams(not using coal, wood, gas, limited electricity) instead of real meat(only for the rich) then be my guest. 1700s @stovo82 there you go, just make sure you feed your horse I mean transport, but wait that could be consider animal cruelty in the future treating animals like slaves. So on your bike o darn rubber is processed too(moderate emmisions) huh, well you got 2 strong legs on you I bet you can manage that 20 km distance you need to travel today. Just remember the suffering you do today makes the world a better place, for future generation go you... Who said suffering can't be a good thing.

Australia has over 100 hydro power stations.

Thanks for pointing that out, but still it isn't enough to sustain Australia. And more and more families are popping up and growing every day, what was good for today isn't tomorrow.
