Back in 2018-2019 I was working for a reputed Digital Marketing Company in Kolkata, India, and there came a white lady one fine morning wearing a colourful dress and a bright orange Slappa. One look at her, and the next moment, I stared at her flawless skin, nails, and toes, all decked up in bright orange! The first reaction was - "Who is she?!?!?!"
Later that day, my reporting head called me in his cabin and said if I could take an Aussie lady shopping to New Market (someday I will write about New Market as well. As of now, it's the largest street market in Kolkata). I readily said yes, but with the incoming huge pile of online poker registrations and I got stuck. I missed the chance of roaming the streets of Kolkata and getting introduced to the lady I was admiring in the morning.
Nevertheless, destiny has its plan, and so be it. I finally met Mrs. Langtrees in the smoking lot as I was friends with @Sally and she was now friends with Mary-anne. A brief introduction and quick 5-minute chat. I was impressed with the way she thinks and shares details.
Cut to October 2019, I left the job and was sitting at home, when one fine day @Sally again gave me a call to come meet her at a new place she was working, and so it was. I went and found out that @Mrs Langtrees now has her team in Kolkata, and she has a new office where Sally started working. This day changed my life for the better. She offered me to join the office and be her Day Manager and 2IC when she is in Kolkata. I couldn't be happier. I got introduced to a whole new exciting world where Sex wasn't taboo, where females loved their bodies and where working in an office was all fun and more.....
Ever since then, I have loved my job. Things did take a bad turn with Covid and lockdown, we had to close the office down and part ways. But to me, the short-lived days at Langtrees Digital, then it was Team Kamasutra, though, was the best job I ever had.
As days went by, I went back to joining a different office, got married, and had a kid. Quite a few months, years went by when @Mrs Langtrees gave me a call in 2022 to meet her at the Novotel. While on the phone itself, my eyes sparkling with joy and heart pounding hard, what could be the reason that she wants to meet me again? Excited, I went to meet her and there she was, a good and kind lady whom I love to chat with about any topic under the sun! We shared what we missed about each other's life or so and finally, she called me back to join Langtrees Digital Pvt. Ltd.
And well, what could I say, it was a yes, of course. I joined back and gradually our team grew.
