Understand that WA's Heath Act requires that in case of a positive STI result this is notifiable to authorities.
Thus it is highly unlikely you will get the free STI check, no medicare or anonymity you seek.:(

if you find one, please let us all know :rolleyes:

Probably a big reason stopping guys from going to get checked out and treated.

The fear your partner will be notified if you return a positive result....

Only real option, but possibly not fool proof, is to go to a new private practice and make sure you say your single and have no partner. You just came back from overseas and wanted a check up. May not initiate the awkward call to any partners then. Hopefully they don’t bring up any other records that show your marital status....

Well put Humdinger. I can totally relate how the working ladies can be judged in a negative way in a clinic.
Live can be complicated. But it is the reality.
There is another member (i can't remember which thread) saying he will stop punting, I find that very hard to believe. Sex is part of being healthy life (do correct me if I am wrong). Unfortunately, you don't always get it from your partner. Hence the complexity of a relationship.
I am not judging anybody's life. But it is the reality of life. If anybody figured out how to get the balance, please do share. I would like to know how.....

I know just the place! They perform all of the above you describe. It's called Langtrees:D And if you pay, she'll even get dressed up in a nurse's uniform so it looks like a medical centre:D:D
 
Its not free but you can buy std test kits online. Depending on what you wish to test for. Available kits I have purchased are a multi pack that covers chlamydia, gonnarhea syphilis, hep b. Also HIV available. Please pardon my spelling. Company is called headstart testing. Hope this helps. Company promotes 99% accuracy. Please excuse my spelling.

RPH Ainslee House on Murray St. Say youbarw feom overseas, give whatever name you like, no questions asked. These are the professionals and all they deal with.
No Medicare card etc required unlike SHQ that charge you then.you can claim back
 
Go on WA health web site have I got it down load pathwest referral go in give sample you then get SMS of results drop in to Fremantle sexual health clinic and they will treat all anonymous .
Not too difficult . I do it every 3 weeks or so just too make sure I am not spreading it around as Japan is a pretty condom free zone

I wish I could get this form. I can if I say I’m under 35, which I’m not. And I wouldn’t pass for under 35 at the Pathwest clinic. I don’t need a free service but some privacy and discretion would be nice. M Clinic says for men having sex with men, which I’m also not.
Ainslee Hse RPH is now a COVID test centre it seems.
Any other suggestions?

Fly to Bali Mate. Cheaper to test, faster result and anonimity is guaranteed....? Also, enjoy a punt while waiting for your result. If money is no issue, I would probably buy a DIY test kit.

SHQ they don't seem to operate the drop in clinic now.
they arrange a phone consultation first, then get you a test kit together* (their words not mine) for a urine test only. ($15 with rebate)
they will need all you details, medicare, DOB, name, address and inside leg measurement.

*getting a test kit together = grabbing a sample bottle and writing your name on it?
i suppose they would do a blood test, depending on any symptoms described over the phone.
i cancelled, and i'm just going to my own doctor for check at their in-house clinic (probably usual blood & urine)
