Female Condoms.. Do they work for you?

So we had some ladies from SWOP come in and talk about how more and more WLs are using female condoms during a service?

For me personally I don't think they would work because of the nature of the sex industry, they came across to me as a bit time consuming, but I want to know if they work better than the male condom?

My reasons for not liking this product are;
- limited to few positions
- insertion would be a tad awks (imagine that lol)
- they seem really impractical for work, but personal life maybe their better?
- probably have to be a deg because of trust issues for clients who pull condoms off, or are rough.

The one thing I did find quite interesting was that they would be a life saver for doubles (RIP wasted condoms) for clients who like to switch between girls constantly..

What are your thoughts, do you use them, or have you tried them?

If the bloke wore a condom as well, then you could easily slip the girl out of there, substitute a blow up doll, and no one would know the difference !

Haven't even heard of them up to this thread !

Whilst id never do it... if I paid good money to see a lady and she pulled out one of those
id be very tempted to get out the bed stand in the corner and wank myself with a plastic shopping bag while watching porn on my phone. Take cash out my right pocket put it in my left and then go home....
..just to make the point safe sex is important but shouldnt be used as an excuse for that

I thought some visuals would help...I wonder if they've made one for the back door?

I was just thinking, imagine if smiling transmitted an STI? you'd meet someone like in the lift at work and someone would accidentally smile - not that this usually happens but everyone would see that and yell ooh no! and grab a head sized Condom to prevent smiling all scramble to shove it over their head, they'd then take the morning after pill and run off to get an STI test. I'm lucky where I work though that this could never become a reality lol :P

I sure that I am wrong, but from the diagram and the pic, it looks like a male condom is constantly being pulled on harder as the male thrusts, whereas the female condom looks like it could easily be pushed into the vagina by a overly keen thruster - unless the lady held it out with her fingers, as she is doing in the pic.

Then there would be the problem of condom recovery as well as unsafe sex !

Two problems for the price of one - a bargain !

Cheers.

That's what mask is for...it's the facial condom and it can be artful...you will only be transmitting it back to yourself when you smile.

So if someone unknowingly snap a picture of a smiling STI and use the same camera on an unaffected person, boy we'll have litigation on our hands....:eek:

I guess, that's why they invented threesome...one to hold the condom in place...and you get the drift. :D

If you look price wise in the sex industry it cost about 20-30 cents per Condom. Female condoms cost about $2 each. Seems financially smarter to stick with male ones lol.

I think the breakage rate is a lot higher for female condoms as well, but don't quote me on that.

Male and female condoms have fairly low rates of slippage or breakage, and such failure declines as users' experience with the method grows, according to findings from a large observational study of women attending two STI clinics in the southern United States in 1995- 1998.1For example, 3% of all female condoms slipped out of the woman's vagina; the rate was 11% at first use, but it fell steadily to less than 1% if the method had been used 15 times or more. Similarly, 3% of male condoms broke during use—7% among first-time users, compared with 2% among those who had used male condoms 15 times or more. Multivariate analyses confirmed the association suggested by these rates.

I offer these regularly with select clients and would be happy to chat with anyone about their safe use, pro/cons, ideas on how to avoid awkwardness during insertion, some positions etc.

If you're a working girl who uses sponges or wears a contraceptive Nuva Ring, you shouldn't have any trouble with insertion.

Absolutely no complaints so far from the clients who've tried it. They LOVE it.

Excellent for those with a bit of ED (erectile dysfunction) as you can go from instant-stiff to slip-in much quicker and therefore maximise chances of more successful sexytime.
