This is something that really gets my kettle boiling!!!!
People that call and make an escort booking and give a fake address

Do you people seriously have nothing better to do then waste our hard working time and effort.:angry1:
Sitting behind your closed doors laughing because you just got some poor girl to get her hopes up of having a booking and possibly getting some money that night so she may be able to pay some bills and live for another week.
It disgusts me that people abuse this industry in this way and it affects the honest and genuine customers that do with to make bookings.

So does this happen often? Don't they have too give contact numbers?
 
Often enough, maybe 3 -10 escorts, yes they give a real number but fake address, and when u try to call after they dont answer the door or something they dont answer the phone. Their details and number goes on a database tho so if the number or address is used again it flags its a fake

I am with you Sarah....it is annoying.......as annoying as guys who ring up and make a booking for a certain time the next day and never show and -same thing- don't answer their phone when called by the receptionist.
It is about respect. If you make any other appointment (dentist, GP etc.) and you can't make it or you change your mind you call and cancel. Same story with our industry......call and cancel if you change your mind. It is not rocket science.

I completely agree ladies, but it needs to work both ways. Surf the forum and you will see there have been more than a few instances of girls not being available even with bookings, girls being much older, larger, smaller than advertised etc.

I do agree and would never not show, but if you look at the percentage of girls that exagerate their information to the percentage of no shows from punters, it probably works out to be about even, the bad seeds that give the genuine people a bad name.
 
Yeah there is nothing worse than making a booking and when you turn up she is not available yet reception, who had my contact details did not bother to let me know. Then reception try to encourage you to see someone else. It really kills your mood when you're really looking forward to see that someone special then she is not available.
 
Both good point retrowolf and gentleman! the genuineness needs to come from both sides. I know that with Langtrees Ladies we are all advertises correctly because our boss hates false advertising as well.
As for a girl not being available it does come down to first come first serve, if you call to ask if a certain lady is available the reception will generally say yes if she is working that night not if she is available that second you call because again you can call and then not show and that lady may miss out on other bookings waiting for you.

This is where the similarities to the doctor/dentist end. I think that if you are expecting a gent to keep a booking, you are also ablidged to do so. If you think that your time is more important that the gent who has come all the way down to see you and is prepared to spend a significant amount of money for a very small amount of your time, is he not worth the small risk that he might not show??

I mean if he is 10 minutes late without calling, by all means take other appointments, but you are providing a service, and it is reasonable to expect a standard, especiall for the large amount of money for relitivly small amount of time the guys pay.

Sorry, just really getting over being expected to live with bad service (my expirences haven't been in this industry, so my angst is probably being poorly directed) even when being separated from large amounts of my hard earned.
 
Simply put we are sub-contractors and if we dont' work we dont get paid; so yes time is money to us. we don't get a wage for just sitting around in the lounge, whilst waiting for a booking, so waiting for a client to turn up and then he doesn't is a real piss off in this industry.

Personally if a man has spacificly called to see me i will give him 15 mins past his ETA to show otherwise he forfeits his booking. i also tell them to call if they expect to be late.

it seems your quarrel is about the standard of service?? not missing bookings

The guys who make bookings and either don't confirm, or don't show up are getting off on the fact that you are rushing around arranging time for them. They are sitting at home wanking over it, that is their buzz.

I had one dude ring me at 7.30am this Christmas day just gone, and order me for an outcall. Gave me the hotel name, room number and everything. Then rang me again, and ordered me again, forgot that he had already rung me. When I told him that he had already booked me, he hung up, obviously just getting his jollies by ringing working girls and having a wank. So I rang the hotel management and told them that he was booking working girls at their hotel, and they threw him out. Karma is such a bitch :laughing4

The moral of the story is not to ring me at 7.30am on Christmas Day (how rude!!) and make a fake booking.

Yes I agree. This is happening all to often.

It is amazing that some people have such little going on in their lives that they find it entertaining to phone an escort agency/private girl to make bookings and then cancel while you are on your way, give fake numbers/fake addresses etc. I recently had this happen twice in one night and I seriously wanted to kill someone... I just had to keep telling myself... Just breath!!!!
 
Unfortunately timewasters etc are a fact of life & not only in the "Escort Industry"
I do a few hours a month with a charity. Surprising how many calls they get For example last month a lady called to donate white goods, we take the truck around and the poor bloke had no idea what we were talking about. I guess there was someone in a house nearby looking through their curtains having a great laugh
I know its not hurting my livlihood but it still S*&$% one off
 
I am sure that there are timewasters in all industries, but I would be quite happy to state categorically that the sex industry attracts exponentially more of them purely because of the nature of the business. I have developed ways of spotting them, so not many slip through anymore. The latest one was the Xmas day one.
 
Hi, I think that it's important that we appreciate the good clients, cause after all, there are more genuine one's than what there are wankers...thank god!
But, agreed, it is a shame that there are still so many guys that choose to get their jollies by stuffing around w/l.
Being a receptionist at Langtrees I do get to deal with my fair share of wankers, whether it be by phone or in person, but i do consider this to be just one of the drawbacks of my job. I do have, however, many more clients that I genuinely enjoy seeing walk through the doors again, so that's a major bonus...really it's just like any industry huh?

You are a receptionist right?

The way that I see it is that if you are the receptionist then you are getting paid to deal with fake clients,that is your job. But as privates we don't get paid to talk on the phone as you do. If I did get paid to deal with dickarounds I wouldn't be complaining at all.

I agree with you but it happens a lot to Pizza shops and Taxi drivers too.
People call them and make an order or want a Taxi
Then laugh their heads off because they are being little smart arse pranksters.

Billybones recent post reminded me of when my dad, a house painter, was doing a job and in the wardrobe was like 5 or 6 piles, almost half way up the wardrobe, of porn magazines. Not only were they porn, they were only Hustler and Playboy; and in perfect sequential order(Issue number).
This guy must have been collecting for years.

I used to sneak a look at my fathers collection and at the time he used to be into MAYFAIR amd Penthouse.
I was so paranoid I wouldn`t put them back properly and he would know that I had been looking...

I remember stumbling across my first ever porno movie im my auntys beta video collection. I was about 12. Went looking and found the same movie on the net last yeah and had to download it. It's caled "The Girl From S.E.X" awesome 80's retro stuff.

As far as collecting goes, no real need I guess, there is so much free porn on the net (youporn and xhamster are my fav's) there is just no need to buy it anymore. Rather save the cash for the occasional R'n'T :p
 
Used to be in a position to collect Mayfair and swank many years ago at high school and re sell them for a tidy profit but not anymore.

On the odd Occasion I used to buy score but these days it's like retrowolf said. Bucketloads of free porn on the net so i can't see adult msg companies making too much.

In those days free porn wasn't so accessible so I was able to command a good price for them! Dunno about now considering it seems both sexes are indulging in naughty time a shitload more and earlier than us!

My fathers friend used to work for Playboy Casino in London in the 1960's
