Ever had a bad day at work???

I was yelled at by a lady today because I didn't smile and great her ten seconds quick enough... Made me feel terrible coz I was so happy and I've never had that happen and I've worked customer service/reception for several years. She came back hours later and apologised for ten minutes then came back half hour later again with a muffin topped with frosting to say sorry again because I was so helpful and polite when she did return and that I copped the ass end of her divorce issues... The muffin was worth being yelled at by a stranger.

We all have different interpretations of 'bad'. Whenever I travel to an Asian country and see the construction workers working happily with minimal safety measures, minimal pay, VERY long hours and in extreme heat......and they are SMILING and grateful for job......that's when I reassess my 'bad' days.
 
I am usually a positive person and try to see the POSITIVE even in the negative........

depends how you look at a glass: even on a bad day I look at it and try to convince myself that it is rather half full than half empty
