It certainly takes a certain mind set, just as it takes a certain mind set to be a working girl. It can be, and I have seen it done successfully if the gentleman understands the detachment we have from our clients.

Each has similarities (outside of the particularly physical aspect) in common with my job - not relationship friendly hours, emotionally draining for the worker, difficult to manage a schedule/relationship...
So while I would advise super cation in dating a woman in the industry, I would also never rule it out. I also don't think that if you're a client, that you should ever pursue the ladies you book outside of work, as it is an incredible breach of privacy and in my books also totally disrespectful.
Every relationship, every individual, every interaction, comes with it's or their own challenges. Should clients of working girls attempt to try to date their provider - no. Should a guy on the street not date a lady because she is a working girl/stripper/porn star/webcam model/nude model - also no.

Everyone's different with differing opinions and their own hang ups. If you're cool with sharing that intimate side of a relationship..have at it.

These things are very easy to just say but in reality I think it would be very difficult to simply accept that your girlfriend or wife has sex with other men regardless of the reasons why. 100% I would not be able to be with someone who does that as a job. Just speaking out of personal experience, I have been with my guy for some time and he honestly is ok with it, we have an amazing relationship, as long as it is just a job, he would not be ok with me seeing someone out of personal choice etc if that makes sense
it is very strange to me that he is ok with it and it took me some time to believe that he really is. It takes a certain mind set to keep up with that from borh sides. Maybe one day he will have enough, but he will tell me if so. We have had plenty of discussion about it. However, my job is not my life, its not something I do more than 2-3 days a week at this point, which is probably what makes it easier. If it was everyday it would obviously without a doubt be different I dont see how it wouldnt be.

Haha I thought u may ask that. Definitely not on the job.... not in a trashy way either. We worked together years ago, in a respectful industry, eventually after being friends for awhile, it just turned into something. He is a decent & respectful guy, which makes it sound all the more strange I guess. One in a million of bizarre things I suppose lol.

No we were both working in the same office at the time, this is many years ago and no I was not working in the sex industry until a couple years ago, but did have a break inbetween then and now, out of choice out of my own, only just recently returned
we were just talking one day & it came up in conversation etc, he said if thats what I want or need to do thats ok etc etc (as previously mentioned)

I just struggle to see the problem if you know beforehand. How more open of a relationship could that be? Regardless of the job you do, if you both want each other it shouldn’t be a barrier. Or, from another angle, a sex worker adds pleasure to a persons life. There are dozens of other professions that society judge as “respectful” that do the complete opposite.

I recently had a discussion with a very regular client about moving into a relationship, and we were both really interested and really keen and he was ok with me continuing to work in the industry if i wanted to but in the end what didnt work for us was that the only way for us to really work was for one of us to move and neither of us is ready to make that big move, but we are still open to seeing how things progress and what the future will bring.
The only discussion we have about me continuing in the industry was that I didn't want to come home and have to talk to him about my 'day' because i dont share anything about my work and never will.
