Just wondering if anyone knows of any Drag shows happening around Perth?
Always a fun night out but havent seen one advertised for ages? Are they no longer popular?
Also is there a 'club' where drag / cross dressers can go to mingle, learn stuff (styling, makeup, undergarments etc) where they can go and just be 'themselves'?
 
Used to b a group called Chameleons had a web site n meetings once a month but i see they close down dont know why.there was everything there u wanted to know bout m;/up n dressing up dont no who to con now

Thanks Bepp yes I seen they closed recently so wondered if there was any other club anywhere members may know of.
So far as Drag Queebs ive always been fascinated by their ott makeup and dress and really fancy getting decked out like they do but where to start?

I know there are a few drag queens that hang out at connections in northbridge on friday/saturday nights. Maybe pop in there one night and ask them if they are there.

Dont know how far into dressing you are ATM , but as far as lingerie is concerned,i dont have any trouble wandering thru the lingerie sect. Of target n big w .actually quite njoy it specially the looks i get from ohter custoners.
I also walked into Bras n Things one day n asked a young assistant if she could help me with lingerie,thought shed run away blushing,but she was very helpfuleven telling me i could try some on.
with makeup ive emailed a beauty salon n they replied with a price list
in my short time as a xdresser ive found it brst to just approach the lady running the shop n just let em know straight out its for you.ive found most to be very helpful rven letting me try lingerie on in store which can b very helpful

TRY COURT HOTEL IN NORTHBRIDGE, THEY HAVE DRAG SHOWS ON AND THEY USED TO DO AMATEUR NIGHT ON A WEDNESDAY, NOT SURE IF THEY STILL DO BUT YOU COULD CHECK
 
Thanks everyone for your feedback and suggestions. Im a little nervous about going into a shop thats why I had hoped there would be a club or something where I could meet like minded people so will try Connections now that Chamelions is closed
 
hey Hotdog....i hear where u coming from bout going into shops...but take it from mr theres nothing to b scared of.some of the ladies have been so friendly n helpful that im the one that runs out
my last visit to B n T's even tho it was lat in the day 4.30pm the young girl was very helpful but i couldnt hang around
 
Lingerie is something that you get better at buying every time you buy some. The more specialised better quality non chain stores are always a good bet as they can a bit quieter and is easier to get help, although buying a matching set from myer on a busy Saturday morning is fum too
