role plays??

OK so there have been discussions on other boards regarding the masculine and feminine role changes.....so id like to ask now what you men think of all this in relation to your sexual role.....do you prefer to be making all the decisions for the household? or in this case the bedroom, or have times changed?

Mood

Depending on the mood depends on whether I prefer to dominate or be dominated, In general I like to be in control of things when it comes to the bedroom and I find that a good percentage of men are quite happy for the woman to take control.

Would you agree or disagree that a woman who is happy to be assertive in her sexual relationships is very familiar with her own body and aware of what does and does not work for her in terms of sexual pleasure?

sex should not be like a game of guess who and men like their partners to tell them their likes and dislikes, if we cant be open how can we expect to have a fullfilling pleasurable experiance.

D/s

Greetings MsMagick,MsShannon & All,
For people outside the D/s life-style , the "bedroom" is usually oposite to the persona presented to the "public".The ostensibly Dominant person prefers the partner to be the intiator.(MY opinion).
As a life-style DOMINANT I prefer the joy of exploration, if what I am doing elicits a "pleasurable" response ,then whatever I am doing is pleasurable for the subby *at this time*,*"Nothing" is set in concrete* What is pleasurable today may be a *Rectal-pain* tomorrow , This is particuly true for females whose endocrinological cycle will give differing responses at differing times.
Frequently (I have experienced)that ostensibly Dominant women , become quite submissive for about 3 or 4 days , around ovulation. On the other hand (I have experienced)that many become responsive 1 to 2 days before menses and frequently for at least a few days during the menstrual cycle.
While We can suggest that one person may be more *dominant* in the "bedroom".I would suggest , that there are so many variables it is very difficult to be too specific.

:) lol maybe I'm just weird then lol.. I can honestly say.. I dont believe that i am capable of being dominate.. not even when i'm ovulating.. I'm a subby through and through...

I used to class myself as a switch, but found my natural submissiveness is far too strong for me to dominate as well as I would like. Yes I can dominate, but it takes a day of mental preparation for me to do so, and another day to "come down". And it mentally exhusts me!

In my experience in the dominating role I have found that men who have so much control in their lives, like to have that taken away from them for a while. Yet some are also naturally submissive! I don't believe it's relevent to just men your topic, but to D/s in general regardless of the sex combination (be it MM, MF or FF). It is a natural state of being regardless of what the outside world sees. For example myself...many would not see me as being submissive because I take control of life around me. I love having that taken away from me...even if it is only for a short time.

maybe in roles in the house times have changed. it doesnt really matter sexually though. do whatever you like!

My natural instinct lean towards being on top but whatever goes really, right the rules as you go.
