Was watching 20/20 on retirement and super...boy was I surprised. Think they mentioned something like half a million dollars to just retire on is minimal.. if both parties had this then life could be good. Who in the hell has that sort of money
stashed in super..politicians, bankers etc but not us wee folk. As bugger all we will get from government..what will become of us....

most people will have to work till they are 70 yo and the next day they die , that is how i see it .

Retired is being twice tired, I've thought
First tired of working,
Then tired of not. PS: Thats my super f@@@ ... stock retirement.

Retire from work, but not from life.

Homer Get a two seated Gopher Maybe you could be a driver for LTs
8 PM: We have a booking for Melville for midnight Homer Could you pick the girl up now You should be there just on time

I think the safest investment for retirement would be bricks and mortar. It's been proven in the past and will be the same for the future. Sure, it isn't a quick money making scheme, but it profits every year................except maybe just when a recession hits ! Mmmmm x

Ummm...yeah sounds like a plan H2. I guess I will send in my application after I turn 70 and a half.

Going with the original theme of this thread..............so many have such a vague idea of what a monetary goal is or don't have one at all. Thus it becomes endless.

Those scooters are terrifying, the amount of times they've tried to run me over.... o_O

Well miss Bell, there are hooners among those pensioners. So better watch out, do not try to approach them. Some are suicidal with no intention of using their indicators or rear view mirrors.

Definitely... You gotta watch those old ones. Always the most dangerous
