Who is moderating the mods? From my reading of that thread it was escalated unnecessarily by a mod!

Mods need to be cool, calm and collected and not get emotionally involved and strike out.

I can confirm ive been discouraged. I mod called me a misogynist and did not have evidence. I called him out and now im the bad guy. This is a sign of whats to come guys. This isnt a place where punters are welcome anymore.

Btw im a software engineer, the discouraging crap is easy to work around. I'm not going anywhere

The moderator accused him of a few things too. You need to look at this more closely.
Whilst the clean up is on I am moderating all. The moderators are still in training and once I have time to merge and sort, delete and rename the good threads I wiu be in charge
Pleased for you to work around the discourage babe it helps me learn, I persoanlly wanted to delete you but was advised to discourage you. We have made the changes to stop all the crap, always happy to hear fair critiscm but it must not be personal. This is what a misogynist means.

From my reading of the comments it does apply.
We all stuff up at times take the 30 day discourage and send a reasonable request in 30 days and the seven moderators will vote on the issue.

I remember that. Fwiw, I agree with you. I've also been on the receiving end. Guess it's about who you know nowadays.
Also be a good idea for you to give some advice on my new BLOGS on https://au.langtrees.com/blog I am having many say I should set them all out with landscape photos so they all look even, I like using 3 sizes of photos for main image as it looks more like a newspaper to me. I would like your thoughts on our Blogs. We will be able to add video to Blogs in about 3-5 weeks time and voive. I see them as a strong educational tool and that is my primary interest.
Play fair guys use names so we can get to the root cause. I don;t think any of the modeerators will be offended with just critiscm.

That is exactly what has happened. One of the mods has explicitly stated his objective is to settle grudges

It would be good to see a post introducing the moderators, and the rules that they uphold for the forum and themselves.

It would be good to have a silent vote to see if the members are happy with who the moderators are as well
They can when the clean up is finished be the end of March at this rate

I can’t speak for the other moderators, or MrsL, but I see no problem with that. Whether it is practical or logically possible to do so might be another matter though.
