I was talking about that this morning and was saying a deposit holding independent service would be great as well. So the client would pay the deposit to the holding service and it only gets released upon confirmation of service

That's a bit better but still doesn't address the whole issue. what about compensation also for the client if he is ghosted or provided false information about the lady - gets rid of the shady providers? Wasted time time and expense is also an issue for clients. The holding service can accept a deposit from both parties and release them upon confirmation of service. If such an arrangement was in place I and other punters I know, would be more willing to pay deposits rather than avoiding those providers.
That’s the whole idea. The shady ones would never agree to this service. Also I always tell clients make sure she is photo verified. Has an online presence. Reverse image search and will talk on the phone. These simple steps avoid a lot of issues.
They should always refund deposits if they cancel. I not sure why a reputable escort would throw good money away. I do know it has cost me thousands when I get stood up. I understand you lose time and if you have booked a hotel room then I think they should be paying you compensation if they can’t provide proof of cancellation reasons.
