Today is the day the doc try's to rid me of this damn cancer will catch up with everyone soon hope it's only a couple days
 
All the best Obbie, I wish you great success and a speedy recovery
Will have a Cup of Rum ready for you on your return
 
Remember that D day was a hard fought slog that turned into an awesome victory.
This will also be a victory for you. Good luck and positive thoughts!

Telling someone who has cancer to simply think positive and believe is a load of utter shit.

Think back last week when a mother refused chemo thinking positive thinking and fucken mudwraps would cure her daughter of cancer. She died 2 months later.

Look I know this forum is all about positive thinking but sometimes its really a load of shit

I was going to not respond as I distance myself from this sort of communication with put downs and profanity.

You are entitled to your opinion and I will not resist that. So don't fight back.......

Positive thoughts alone do not do much...I agree.

Negative beliefs however do certainly have effect.

I don't tell people what to do....I don't do that. Obbie has my best thoughts as he faces treatment. And I wish him a strong state of mind to get him through the potential discomforts.

A positive mindset brings about a tangible improvement in biochemistry which assists.

So all in all I agree with you......


Magoc...... I will ask politely once. Do not speak to me or any other forum member like this again...... I like to maintain this as a peaceful space.

P.S A loved one of mine is a cancer survivor. An incredible mindset plus modern medicine won over the cancer for over a decade now.

What you should do now is find somewhere you like and go spoil yourself.
 
WOW........Obbie, can't believe that you are in and out of hospital in one day. Now listen to me darling.......you better do exactly what the doctor ordered to get better and healthy. I know it is not always easy (yeah right Rochelle........do as you peach.......) but it is worth it.
Now I do give you the biggest cypher space hug in cypher space history.

I thought I'd be in longer but it's better to be home than getting woken up every couple hours to see if I'm asleep but mount hospital was great going back in a week depending on results for more surgury

There were a couple of nice looking nurses one as I went into theatre the other was the night nurse won't be going for a punt for a while can't lay face down that long but you can have one for me billy bones

As for not being able to lie on your belly to long ObbieI am sure LTs have a good selection of slings etc in the pleasure lounge Take the weight off for you ;)
