Just wondering if any WL have ever considered taking cryptocurrency (Bitcoin) as payment? Or even as a deposit. It's so simple to do and you would be surprised at how many people actually are holding different cryptos. Part crypto payments can be long hold investments aswell. A nice place to store a little extra cash on hand. Hit me up if you would like me to explain in detail just how easy it can be to set up. I know there are sceptics out there, but with the likes of visa, PayPal and other major institutions now adopting crypto payments it shows money is gravitating towards it.

No this isn't an advertisement 🤣 yes i hold different cryptos and do my own research and only put in what I can afford to lose......which right now I am not losing.
 
you're right Pirate ,, but cryptos are not being paid thru banks , so our faithful Government isn't interfering with it .. yet .. so cryptos are almost very very equal to cold folders .. except you don't have to sterilise you mittens after doing the deal
 
The problem with BTC is that the transfer will take longer than the booked session with the WL to hit her account.
If one uses ETH then the high fees are not worth the effort.
I use cash until the day arrives when we are all in a cashless society were any and all transactions are in the plain sight.
I use the living room of some place located in QLD where for a small fee they send cash to my bank account, in an exchange, so I obtain the benefit of the profits that I earn not the other way around. ;)
There was a time years ago where cam girls took BTC for their shows, and BTC was about $200 US back then, I bet they don't work anymore!
 
It is the major fluctuation in Crypto prices that gets me - alright it may balance out in the end
If you were to pay or even receive payment and the market crashes then who knows how long it will take to recover
On the flip side, if the market was to "Rocket to the Moon", then I would be kicking myself for not holding the Crypto and paying in cash

The value of the dollar may effect the prices of what we are buying/selling, but at the end of the day 10 bucks will still be 10 bucks
 
Be nice if we could.

They then need something like afterpay added to it. To make sure.

It would be good but atm no method exists.

Well that depends on what type of coin/token is used as some can take moments to receive vs hours and their fees are minimal vs highway robbery!
 
So if I was to ask Amelia if she would accept 3 $LTC Lite (Coin) right now for an hour of her time and all she had to do was set up an Exodus wallet which takes 10 minutes and doesn't involve inputting her private details, why wouldn't she? I could transfer .5 of a $LTC as a deposit, then I could transfer the remaining when I arrived all of which will take less than 5min. Then she has as of right at this moment in writing this the keys to ~$765 worth of crypto.

Of course, she wouldn't be silly enough to start taking a form of payment without a crash course.

Also that 3 LTC she was paid which at the time was worth ~$765, right now is worth ~$720. Doesn't look good for my promotion of crypto, but it can and will very easily go the other way. I'll let you know when it's worth $800.

The WL would only take this payment type if she could afford it. She would be silly to take 100% of her payments in crypto. It's essentially an investment in a market to hold for awhile or until she is happy with a return. Also the 3 LTC I offered is very generous in today's market, where when I purchased it I wouldn't have gotten 10 minutes of any girls time, even Ming Che Ling at 5 knuckles Cafe! (i made that up) ((ofcourse Ming Ling would see me 🤣😂))
 
That was my point, does she or others need a crash course or do they already know what to do with the coin/token, additionally knowing of the price fluctuation, fees of sending and any tax obligations if swapping back to Fiat.
Oh I remember the day I brought LTC for $12 AU, should cash out and build a time machine to buy more ;)
