At what age do you think a woman becomes a "Cougar" or is this term used just to generalise a woman who's older than her partner/playmate?
 
I once had an English teacher who used to characterise words as "purr words" and "snarl words". In his vocabulary I think "cougar" has become a "snarl word" in that it seems to be the female equivalent of a dirty old man.
 
You're a Cougar after 40yr's old or more, And a Cougar is a woman with Age and Experience.........

I'm not sure about that. If you're an older guy and go after young women you would often be described as a "dirty old man", backed by a big serving of 'snarl'. An older experienced lady that has a preference for younger men is seen as a "cougar". Don't think that's said too often with any snarl.
It's a little bit of a double standard. But we (men), are the kings of double standards, and have got away with murder for many many years... so we're just gonna have to live with it!
 
As far as the sex industry goes a cougar and a MILF are just another term for Mature Escort.
