Cold and Flu Remedies Are the old ones better ???

Hi Everyone :)
Just battling the cold and the flu at the moment have tried everything i can think of to no avail ,
Has gone into the throat now have a husky voice is good to a certain degree and has nothing to do with to many blow jobs lol mmmm maybe that could be a good remedy :P any suggestions xxxx Andrea​
 
Poor you!!!!!! Hope you feel better soon. Try hot lemon, honey and crushed ginger.....honestly it helps. Might taste a bit strange to start with but you get used to it and the best part: it really helps.
(if there is one thing I miss........hot lemon/honey/ginger as an item on beverage menus in Perth' Cafes......I love it)

Try eating some great garlic prawns with extra garlic and a little bit of chilli mixed with it. Some may not like your breathe but that`s too bad for them.

A good side effect of the garlic "cure" is that it forces other people to keep their distance and avoids spreading the bugs around.
 
I am one for old herbal remedies. My property is covered in home grown herbs and I grow my own garlic too...I make my own garlic tonic,,, which is 2/3 a bottle of very good quality Vodka topped up with fresh whole garlic cloves,,I leave it for 6 months, then when I feel the ills coming on I have a shot in the morning and one at night. The taste is very potent, but it works, sore throats I gargle it same thing twice a day, all my friends pop over when they are getting sick too. Believe me when I say it works wonders.
 
Damn :( The flu finally got a hold of me,,I've kept it bay for ages, I woke in the morning with my eyes so sore and light sensitive, have the awful blocked nose, the temperature and feel so tired, I've been feeling off since the end of last week. Blurgh! I can't get sick, there is to much to do!! Go away Flu! Grrrr! :( lol

I wouldn't say the flu needle is 100% but it certainly helps me.I find that when I start to get a cold or the flu and rest and relax it takes hold off me. If I keep pushing on and fighting it goes away.
 
Thats the thing gentleman the needle is only specific to a very few viruses there are plenty of others who are out to nab us
Thing that gets me (I dont mean you Tania) how many people have the common cold First thing they say Oh Ive got the worst flu
ever Then sneeze etc all the things you dont get with the Flu Anywayif youvé got the flu who wants to , or can leave their nice warm bed
 
To be completely honest I had the flu needle about 4 years ago. I was soooooo sick from it, it took me ages to get over it, I had never been sicker. No Flu needles for me, no way, I learnt my lesson.
 
i reckon lots of love making keeps you ontop of it...literally speaking...lol...i fell for the flu 3 times already so far...
