I'd be curious to hear what the rental markers are like in Perth and Darwin.

I think Canberra will be the most expensive, largely due to our transient population (workers, students, government officials) which means really low rental vacancy rates, but a lot of competition for rentals so the price gets driven up.

This coupled with a well paid workforce (Thanks largely due to the public service) means rents are high..


Canberra is a beautiful city though and I would highly recommend it.
