i read a lot about the topic, the best article I can across is this one.

A few things I have noticed in my experience:
- set fair fighting rules , don’t call her a $&?67 in an argument. She doesn’t tell me I use her for free sex.
- if you feel insecure, tell her.
- ask her how her day was. Sometimes she will want to talk about clients and situations, especially if she has had an a/hole of a customer. Sometimes she won’t want to talk much.
- don’t try to ‘save her’. Understand why she does the job and be supportive of her choices. You meet her when she was on the job. Don’t then try and force her to change because you don’t like it anymore.
- plan and rehearse and stress test your back story. How did you meet, what does she do for work. While many WLs are open with what they do, if you are introducing her to someone it’s not always appropriate to say -hi, this is Wendy. How did you meet? Oh, you know, she is WL. That can be a little awkward.
- she loves you, others are clients that pay her money. What she does is just a job. She will have good days and bad days. Sometimes she will have really good sex with a client and she will orgasm. Some days she will complain client lasted 5 mins and was really small. I will know when she comes home horny after she had a great session with a client. I also know when she comes home from a busy day and has seen 4 or 5 clients.
Finally, why shouldn’t anyone be able to enjoy their job! If she was regulars that buy her nice presents, treat her well and make her feel nice. That’s great. I’d rather that 100% of the time, rather than hear some guy tried to rip her off or tired to be a little rough/demanding with her.
