Beautifully expressed. Sometimes the greatest freedom isn't financial it's simply having your life and your body feel like your own again
 
I think every sex worker is different and the circumstances and demands of life outside sex work can play a part, so can things like fatigue, financial pressure, how open and supported the person is, age and experience as well as what career options are available for when sex work ends. An interesting case study from the Master, it would be great to read a follow up piece about Ellen, if she continued sex work or if she left and her experience in life outside sex work.
