Canberra brothel owner Bradley Lester Grey found guilty of sexual offences against seven employees. A Canberra brothel owner has been found guilty of 20 sexual offences against seven sex workers, including rape and acts of indecency, during so-called "training sessions".

So the Brothel this happened at it actually our neighbor... whilst i never had a great deal to do with him, he did offer me a job a few years back. Just goes to show you never ever really know what people get up too behind closed doors. In an industry that comes with many different challenges its sad that there are people willing to take advantage of not only their position but of people that trust them .

It's sad that there are people like this. You should never be mixing work with pleasure. Especially when you their boss/manager.

Yep unfortunately there is.

I'm curious, how does Langtrees handle interactions between employees of shift. Like if someone was a receptionist and came in on their own time and paid a lady is that fine. Or do you have a more strict no interaction policy to avoid having situations like the above?

I've noticed that Sassy Gina's at Fyshwick is operating again. It's in the same structure as Lollipop Lounge, Rose Palace and A Touch of Class. Sassy Gina's appears to had been closed in the wake of the police raids and shutdown in the past couple of years of Pink Girls and Chok Dee Massage that led to the madam Jamaree Suksom being charged and convicted of employing girls without Australian working rights, and the Sassy Gina's landlord Dimitrios Brendas being arrested for operating illegal brothels in the Argyle Apartments in Braddon.

Sassy Gina's is advertising on Locanto, though they are not mentioning the name and address.

A Touch of Class still appears to be operating as the doors are open with a couple of cars out the front. But they never advertise and their Facebook page is inactive.

i personally wouldn't ok it, there is a line and thats one you dont cross. I think it would just cause too many problems.

Yes a little while ago there were brothel raids in Canberra, a full sweep was done and we were one of those that received a visit... i Sat with 4 of the work place officers and chatted it was really interesting and informative... they were impressed with us.
The conditions that some ladies are made to work in is just awful ;(

The buildings behind the Convention Centre with a cafe on the ground floor? They are nice looking apartments. I had a coffee there a couple of weeks ago when I was at the travel expo.

I have noticed a few girls advertising that they are in the city near the casino.

After seeing photos of some of these raids, some of these so called 'brothels' just look like a tin shed with an ikea bed inside of it.
