So i was just on another Thread chatting away (CANBERRA BROTHEL GOSSIP) - check it out :) and we kinda got side tracked and ended up on another topic about Canberra apartments and all i can say is WOW - Canberra is quickly turning in to an Apartment city, does anyone even build a house these days.. Apartments are going up so quickly these days but my god thay are stunning.

Fancy a swim??? on the roof :)

Just some advice for anyone that stumbles upon this thread in the future. AVOID GEOCON LIKE THE PLAGUE.

While there's some really nice apartments being built in Canberra, a lot of them are just a cash grab for the builder / developer. Finding the nicely built ones are hard though and so much crap is being built at the moment.

Knew someone that brought an off the plan apartment in infinity towers in Gungahlin

They got possession of the keys and turns out half the cupboards in there kitchen weren't even level.

Keep in mind these are the same builders that built this monstrosity over in Belconnen.

Where about's are those ones? Who built them?

Not sure what the architect was thinking with that random 3 story tall cube cutout. I agree they don't look visually appealing at all.
They really just look like a lot of the apartments that were built along Flemington road in Gungahlin.
 
Dont ever live in these apartments.. I did, the bed broke, the kitchen bench top broke, the air cond died, the oven.cooktop failed... they are 3rd world and the whole place smells of cheap fried rice...

i went to Chemist Warehouse in Fyshwick on the weekend, even the buildings going up around fyshwick is crazy, the whole area around canberra outlet center looks good
