Looks very nice.

Can anyone provide any details on any contact tracing requirements.
Will it be a premises/govt requirement when reopening for details (name - address - phone number - email) to be taken from each client if they visit?
Same question for AMPs too really.

Ho, ho, ho ..

But joking aside, it is a serious question that some may be concerned about before commencing to visit again.
Can any of the more prominent establishments advise if their reopening does include having to get a bit more personal info from their clients upfront?

Thank you.
Yes please, I know it was a bit serious to be asking that.
But hoping may be some Govt directives if they're requiring covid plans or some such thing to be in place before opening.
And I know we would get a different answer from every shop one could ask ... so was going straight to the top.
Thanks again.
My understanding is the NT and WA won't be requiring in-depth information but I may be wrong.

I know QLD is being very strict on this with real name, address and phone required by clients.

No photo ID is required. Massage parlours etc only have to do the safety course online and display a certificate on the premises to state that this happened. Personal Services can follow the rules that hairdressers and barbers are currently complying with - see attached FAQ's. Barbers & Hairdressers are not asking for photo ID.

No sorry. That is not true. Fortunately.

Actually I might be wrong on that.

Steps to reopen beauty and personal care services
  • Complete a COVID Safety Plan before reopening. Read the COVID Safety Guidelines to help you complete your plan.
  • Display a COVID Safety Plan certificate.
  • Maintain at least 1.5 metres between each staff member and client and every other staff member and client. This may mean activating every second station in your business (this distance is not required between the staff member and client when providing a service).
  • Maintain hygiene and frequent cleaning.
  • Maintain client attendance records for contact tracing. Consider requiring clients to make appointments (online if possible) to help with taking client attendance records and contact details
@Channelle I hope this helps. Have a look on the link and if you are having any issues let me know and I will try help.

Simple solution for contract tracing is how cafes/restaurants etc are doing now - register where you write your name along with an email or phone contact.

We have as part of my business employees heading to complete work at numerous locations on a daily basis, we have records on our database as a matter of record. Going back 20 years. But we don’t have to worry about the discretion factor. I have no plans to disclose my identity for the opportunity to enjoy some pleasure with a willing albeit compensated professional to enjoy a little nookie as we call it in the old country 😃.
Not going to happen, I’m not James Bond in any sense but my movements will always be top secret.

Different states have different requirements.
In SA, massage parlours can reopen on 1 June. There is no mention of keeping an attendance book, but there is mention of on-site inspection. So I am not sure if there will be a restriction of certain services provided by the massage parlour.

The final directive as u say will be released Thursday u have a copy of 1 of many drafts There is plans underway to enforce eft payment no cash & a compulsory register of allescorts no tax file number or recent tax return = no work. Private escorts are going to be under scrutiny in the upcoming weeks also
The motives for these requirements & many more to follow are not based entirely on corona precautions the taxman has more than 1fat greedy finger in this pie
