Haven't had a punt in awhile so stopped in at ELETE massage today . The girl on was good looking with a nice body and friendly nature . Paid $50 for 30min that's pretty well standard now . Similar price at Barrack St, was quoted $150 extra for b2b with HR from an unremarkable girl. When I said too much she tried to negotiate, but I had lost the desire and left. Rightly or wrongly I reckon if you force the price down the quality of service goes down with it.

Sukhothai in Adelaide Terrace is the go to place now.
Massage only 45. Extras..... great value, attitude excellent with enthusiastic participation.

Some if it is cost of living pressure, I suspect, I've only been there once and left suitably unimpressed too.
I still maintain that the COVID crap from a couple of years back reset the narrative in bad way and things haven't recovered.
My punts are much more select than they used to be and less frequent too. That I suspect is age though.🧓
 
The increased pricing seems to be pretty much everywhere. But as it has been mentioned you do not have to take it or you can negotiate for a better price. Some places / WL will be fine with this.
If they are quiet then I am sure they will take what is on offer.
 
I've had places refuse to start the massage until extras are agreed, which is awkward as I don't do extras. Happy to tip their HJ rate for a good massage, but have had several even refuse that.

You should get private health insurance and go to places that give a private health insurance rebate and aren't rub 'n' tugs so you can get firm massage.

Yeah, agree. But I'm usually in Perth for work and looking for after hours options which are limited. I posted elsewhere that 96Spa advertise health fund rebates. They're open late so maybe I'll try that.

Jasmine Health Spa across the road from 96Spa is open till 9.00 and you hopefully should get a good legit massage there without being hassled for extras!
