I'm wondering if there was any existing medical control imposed on brothels and massage centers in WA by the government.

I'm sure that the owners do not like to see a spread of diseases effecting their reputation.

However, with the shortage of staff anything can happen.

If anyone knows I'll be appreciative.

The massage ladies that offer secret services might not need to do any checks as they are not engaged in sex acts officially.
Yet, what you mentioned is relieving making sex workers safer than normal ladies. Even the private working ladies are not bound by any law to do anything. So the brothel is the place to go.

What happens between two consenting adults has nothing to do with the government or anyone else. Practcse safe sex if yave any concerns.
