Don't you just love it when a totally unexpected punt turns out to be one of the best? 🤣
I had been curious about this place for a while, and when I was in the area the other day I decided to take a punt.
From their Locanto add I knew there would be two reasonable looking ladies working that day (but had my doubts about the legitimacy of the pictures) by the names of Nana and Lily, so armed with a few names I could ask for if the greeting lady turned out to be horrid I entered the premises.
I can obviously only vouch for the ladies I saw that day. For those who lost the counting, $388 all up might not be a bargain but I really felt the service was top notch and I found it to be value for money.
Good luck, YMMV as they say, but from my experience I can only encourage you to go and have a punt and support these lovely ladies

What a great experience mate! Thanks for sharing, I'm guessing you will try and repeat it soon :-)

The 10% extra charge is to recoup the merchant fee applicable for card payment. This charge should be no more than what the banks levy. It’s exorbitant

I imagine most businesses would be legit in regard to declaring income. But not cash tip declaring would be rampant. Doesn't matter who you are, if you're caught tax evading, you go to jail.
Restaurant staff would be the worst for this.
How would would you police them?

The way the Corporation wastes and / or launders all the money they rort from us in so many different ways, I only pay in cash for everything - food, fuel, tradies, ladies, just everything, and hope that they slide it straight into the back pocket.

Auditor's learn to spot the signs of fraud on the books quite quickly. I think there is not resources to Police undeclared cash tips and as there is no documentation it would be difficult perhaps impossible to prove somebody hasn't declared tips. I'm no expert on the matter but my father is a retired auditor is how I know a bit about it. Undeclared cash tips might come under unexplained wealth laws if they were getting signifigant tips and therefore have luxury items.

The 10% charge is because it shows on the shops books as it's been paid by card, and the shop doesn't keep any of the extra's money, so effectively they need to pay tax on money they didn't keep. This is why they do it, they keep the 10%, not the girl.
