Yeh mate pattayas the place to be, I suggest next time head to Soi 6 as there’s endless woman trying to get you in, I’ve sat there for a quick drink while the ladies are basically giving you a lap dance and an over the clothes hj in the hopes of keeping you around and if you do wanna play the bars have an upstairs to have sex, Soi 6 is the place to go if you wanna be a bit wilder with girls being extra sexual or head to Soi buakhao which is a small ride away in a more central spot that has alot of bars and options if you want more chilled environments but still wanna take girls home, also great massage shops there.


Also to anyone who hasn’t been avoid walking street it’s over priced and mostly just Indian clubs full of blokes and drinks triple the price and gogo bars which aren’t really my thing but they’re also pretty full so you’re shoulder to shoulder with random dudes.

And avoid Russian clubs they will demand money for dancers you never even knew were there but because they danced you have to tip, I recon I was barely there for 15 min before I was fleeced for $50 due to the random dancers and buying a girl a drink isn’t a drink price they just pick whatever from the overpriced menu

Depends on the bar as some work differently, one way which I believe tends to be more the bars focusing on getting you upstairs the girls get a cut of the drink, you pay what’s called the barfine which is paying the bar to take the girl and then she takes what you pay for service so from what I see the girls tend to smash the drinks faster as they wanna get you in and out and onto the next bigger pay check but not always.

Other way is the girls kinda have a weekly pay check but they have to get a certain amount of drinks a month to keep earning and then things like shots Is counted towards like a “tip” and that’s for the girls who are employed by the bar where freelancers get a cut of the drink price and may bounce between bars and depending if they offer more.

But yes the lady drink is how they earn money and you don’t have to pay but they’re there to do a job so don’t expect them to hang around.

Personally I’ve found two types of bars I like and ones the more wild girls who are trying to rub up and get you to take them away and upstairs or back to yours and the others are the ones with the fun banter girls you can play games, pool and just have a good time while casually buying them drinks and then deciding if you wanna take them away or not.
