OK, I know this is a stretch at TV has been blessing our living rooms for quite some time now BUT....I recently found out that I have a fellow BATTLESTAR GALACTICA fanatic working here at Langtrees with me...oh the time we are going to have talking through our favourite parts/actors/characters etc.

SO, my question is WHAT IS THE BEST TV SERIES EVER? ANY GENRE, ANY PERIOD.

FOR ME: Battlestar Galactica (newer series not old one)

House of Cards (BRITISH OR AMERICAN)

House of Cards (BRITISH OR AMERICAN)

American. I've not yet had a chance to see the UK original. I'll give it a go.

I do think Brit shows are just a bit overrated. America pumps out a vile amount of garbage but if you sift through it there are some really good stuff.

I never watch TV these days...ain't no time for it.

@ the office during the ladies' lunch break however Mad Men seems to have taken my interest from time to time. Quite a fitting storyline for all those working in the creative industry :).

I'm with Yoda re:The Big Bang Theory and BigMike re: Arrested Development.

Apparently a giant fan of British comedy but I love these:
Absolutely Fabulous
Black Books
The IT Crowd
The Mighty Boosh

Currently enjoying discovering Fringe (I don't watch TV so I'm terribly delayed with my pop culture) and will always have a soft spot for Farscape :P

Buck Rogers
Battlestar Galactica (The old series)
Knight Rider (with the Hoffs)
Hawaii Five O (the old series, catchy tunes)
Star Trek TNG
Star Trek Voyager
Star Trek DS9
Star Trek: Enterprise
The Americans
Heroes
The Black List (very good, must watch)
Revolution
Person of Interest
Arrow

Seinfeld
Big Bang Theory
Growing Pains
Different Strokes
The Cosbys
The Millers
Mom
2 and a half men (when Chucky Sheen was still with the franchise)
Ground Floor
IT Crowd

Some good series there Homer.

I really like Arrow. Heaps dont though! Mom isnt bad either.

Entourage is probably my #1. I've seen every episode at least twice although the last couple of seasons werent as good.

Sons of Anarchy is another fav. This current season has really stepped it up a notch

Thanks Magoc.
Arrow was really good in season 1. It has gone a bit twisty in season 2 though.

Another favourite was Fringe.

I quite liked Flash Forward until some execs decided to pull the plugs. Ratings...bleh.

Couple more that were shut down because of ratings BS.

Alphas
Do No Harm
Zero Hours

They are watchable despite what others say.

Ahoy;- if you ever get a chance, there a show called;- The Returned
Its French Candian, but, its great drama series

PS;- Dexter was a great viewing

I DO like Spacey very much but think he over played it a little too much but yes I LOVED the American one. LOVE LOVE LOVE Robin Wright....sooo sexy in that masculine way.

Will do...i often find Canadian shows much better than American.
