Heading to Melbourne next year, need some recommendations on strip clubs to visit.

I've heard I need to wear body armour if I visit Kittens in South Melb....

I went there many years ago when it was all the hype and was disappointed.
Small entry to double security doors (amour van type) and photo ID (which was unheard of back then for a club) made it feel like I was being scrutinised to if I am worthy to come in.
Yep, it felt very enclosed, drink and dances were expensive for that time and I didn't stay for more than an hour. It's certainly not on my Want to go back to list. (probably to cater for the cashed-up rich pricks and not the average dollars Joe)
Spearmint Rino is expensive but least it's a bigger venue with some atmosphere.
Bar 20 and Centrefold used to get my tick for value and some hotties but haven't been there for a few years (must go back for a check out)

The good thing is that most of the clubs are within walk / staggering distance so club-hopping its possible
 
I highly recommend you Club Striptease in Cremorne. Is a small joint but is not really that bad.

I went to Club Striptease ages ago (That long ago i can't really remember the inside) The entrance was from around the back of Swan Street.. Yes??

Yes correct there are a few parking spaces the inside is nothing to shout about but the girls there sometime is a gem.
 
Kittens is great place to go on Fri sat nights has more of a club feeling men's gallery opens the upstairs section where they do the sisters of sole circus style strip shows best I have been to very entertaining gold fingers has theme nights real porn stars strip lingerie nights women in uniform and if ya just want some old fashioned strippers Royal hotel punt road Richmond good place good place for a schooner strippers gets packed when cricket n footys on

I haven't been there in over 2 years but I was a regular before it seems that any day or time I go is good time, if it's busy you only had to wait not that long as they only have 4 girls working at a time. The unique part I like about this place you get to choose the girl in a parade, you get a private room and the prices are ok. I usually go for half an hour cost $80 and you can touch anything above the waist.
