Being in a porn movie

Has anyone here ever worked for money or for free / traveled interstate to help out in making a porn movie / clip / anything?

I am really keen on trying it out and would like to know if anyone on here knows someone or somewhere where you can start?

Free or travel expenses paid would be great.

Most people get the wrong idea about what it's like to "be in porn". But it depends on the type of porn we are talking about.

Not too many companies now making traditional porn with a full crew, trained camera operators, make up artists and such. More and more are becoming the "guy with camera and some cash pays some poor girl and takes advantage of her.

The only two major companies that I know of making porn (and paying performers) are Abby Winters and Girls Go Down Under - both of which only pay female performers. There are a mess of other small operators making porn but no other major ones that I know of.

If you are trying to make porn, then all you need is a camera (and preferably another person). However, if you want to get paid for it, then it's like trying to get a job in the mines: either know someone already in the business or get lucky and be in the right place at the right time.
 
Be careful with the legalities concerning the production and distribution of pornopgraphy in Australia. Abby Winters was raided by police (for making objectionable film for gain) in 2008, fined $6000 and forced to close it's Melbourne office. They have subsequently moved to Amsterdam and continue to produce work there. Unfortunately it is incredible difficult to produce pornography in Australia due to tight film classification restrictions.
 
I had heard, but have not confirmed, that the only place in Australia that it is legal to produce X rated pornography is in the A.C.T.

Pity I'd never suit a porn movie - I'm way too old, and way not well enough equipped.
My wife's a urology nurse who has seen plenty of examples. She's assessed mine as "definitely above average" and way more sadly also stated that it is "far too big to put that in my mouth" (it's not like she has to put it ALL in), but whilst that might sound ok for normal use, it sure ain't porn movie material :(
Besides, who ever believes a wife's assessment of her partner's equipment? It's not like she's going to be honest if it's below par, so my guess theory is that her opinion is null & void.
 
Watching porn is like watching a home improvement show. I'd love to do what that guy is doing, I just don't have the equipment.

its got to be filmed in "gonzo" vision , you need to be 6' 6' and 120kgs and she needs to be 4'8' and 38 kgs .

Its not all what it seems.
Many retakes of scenes..going over the same things many times to get the best view. Having to keep things "up" !!! and performing with a group of onlookers and obviously cameras..
seeing the same perfectly sculptured bodies for days in a row. watchign others perform whilst waiting for your scene.
its a difficult job.
 
you can see the appeal of being in one thou especially if your into exhibition the thought of people watching you doing there thing its flattering hahaha and it is surprising how backwards australia is in porn a bit dissapointing really

There is, after a fashion. There are loads YouTube clone sites around for people to upload their "home movies", though most of what gets uploaded is scenes from professional productions.

Youporn.com is the first that springs to mind, though there are loads around.

However, your idea of "private porns for peoples own use" overlooks the problem that anything digital will eventually be uploaded to the internet. If someone has made a "home movie" then as soon as they pass a copy off to one other person, then they have lost control of that video. There's nothing stopping it being up on the net and accessible by anyone.
 
occassionally, seancody.com will pay for international travel and they are based in USA. I'm aware of some models they brought in from UK and Eastern Europe. For a male, this is where the goldmine is - it's the women who rake it in in porn so your expectations maybe a little high.

You'd be better off starting something here, as I think there is potential for something local in Australia similar to bangbros.com or baitbus.com - and thing this is still an untapped opportunity that could boom here

Use a reputable agent, he/she will organise a tryout, if you pass muster you then wait for a call up. Why not rent a cam cord, hire a couple/ or more girls and do your own amateur porn vid, you will probably enjoy that more as there can be up to 25 people on set.
