Buddy. ALL news is crap today.... Murdoch initiated the MSM dumb and dumber version of the news, and the masses swallowed it, and now are paying for it via paywalls and subscription services, The Australian is not worth using as the bottom in a bird cage, Most of the worlds media is a joke..
 
The Australian always has always had some very good journalists, but they have a collection of 'hit men' and 'hit women' opinion-makers who serve up 'dumbed down', nasty articles that typically try and re-interpret history and re-elect the Liberals. Mind you, their 's**t shower' of climate change deniers have been pretty quiet since November, after Australia has been constantly on fire
