Bartending Courses

Most of the bars in Perth don't give a hoot for 'bar courses' you're better of grabbing your RSA, and ask to be a bar back or glassie to get a foot in the door.
 
Thing is bud you'd have to listen to lots of drunk punters and prostitutes and their stories - you know the kind - they're called "Cock Tales" 'cos you're a bar tender.

The most important thing about being a bar tender is can you do the hippy hippy shake like I can?

 
If you are thinking about doing courses another one you may wish to think about is getting your "security license"
Yep another course and another job you get to work nights.

Getting an RSA is the easy part. Just as long as you can pour a beer from a tap without too much froth, you will do well. Most bars will have a card index of cocktails, mocktails and shooters. A course worthy of doing is Approved Manager
 
I totally agree that the online RSA is the easy part! Working behind the bar is a fun experience, if you find somewhere that sees a lot of customers you'll surely have some run ins with drunk guys and girls, which can lead to some pretty entertaining nights!
