Are the rates charged by Escorts linked to the price of crude oil?

This topic has probably been raised and discussed ad nauseam, but I was wondering if escort rates have surged recently, or have been increasing gradually over the last couple of years.
I am pretty new to this but I have perused the WA escort sites on occasion, in the past.... just never took the next step.
I'm sure it was no more than 2 years ago since I last scrolled through the profiles and I don't remember seeing 4 figure rates for 1hr service 🤔
Maybe it's been way longer than 2 years, as the rates were more like:
Asian (short stay visa) - $200 to $250
Caucasian - $500 to $600
Elite Model Escorts - $700 to $800

Then again, we've been in a prolonged cost-of-living crisis, compounded by the closure of a Strait that no one had heard of prior to 1st March, so maybe that's the explanation.

I'll probably get slammed and ridiculed for making this observation, but before you unleash the executioner within, I just want to say that I'm not making any judgement as to what rates are charged. Nor would I ever dare to put a value on a woman's worth. My budget may limit me to an infrequent encounter, but that's got nothing to do with the rates an escort charges for her services 😇

30 years on what's the rate for the same service with the same class of escort?
For example, a middy of beer in Perth has increased 4-5 fold in the last 30years,
Perth's median house price has increased over 6 fold,
But unleaded petrol (91) has only increased 2-3 fold in the same period (73c/L in 1995).
 
They all just charge higher prices for no reason.
I see so many ladies advertising more than double what they used to charge while they are now older and no better service wise. This is across the board, ladies of all backgrounds

No reason like the one above said ... overprice... under-deliver ... knowing full well that idiots will still pay for it ..
 
If I notice others putting their rates up I will follow, I don’t want to be left behind and considered cheap or value for money
 
Maybe we all should do a mass One day boycott, I’m just wonder who is paying these ridiculous or is it just supply and demand keeping prices high ?
Even the basic RNT massages are nearly charging the same or more for FS escorts.

Price rise is coz of the housing crisis and inflation etc. Rents are astronomical and so are property prices. In regard to inflation, if you don't get what's atleast 30% off your paying double what it was 2 years ago me thinks. I remember apples we $5 a kilo recently and now $10 a kilo. Packet of Jatz is like $4.

But yeah sort of smoking the sex workers out of their hole sounds like a grand plan. $150 for half hour nude handjob is close to ridiculous.

This is sad ...don't mean to be judgemental ... but sounds alot like mentally and emotionally damaged men who were raised by single mums ... simp epidemic (or pandemic more like) is out of control ..

Yeah off topic but a relative of mine got a reverse mortgage and we think he gave it too a church over-time. You'd think the church would have seen they were clearly taking advantage of vulnerable person. Also I've heard lawyers take the money of people that have been psychiatrically force medicated and are trying to sue the government when they don't have a case. It's never gonna be policed it's just plain unethical though.
