I thought it was strange that hair dressers and Physiotherapists can offer services yet beauty therapists and massage therapist can’t.

I can already see the loop hole in that, one of the girls I use to see for a thai massage is a qualified remedial therapist, but she adds extras for more $$. LoL.
 
I thought any profession of physical contact was banned.

In Western Australia, massages that are provided through professional services like physiotherapists, remedial massage therapists and myotherapists are not currently prohibited by the Closure and Restriction (Limit the Spread) Directions made by the State Emergency Coordinator on 7 April 20.

If a chiropractor touched 10-20 patients a day who's to say that bench/equipments used is sanitised afterwards? So much for the 1.5m distance. LoL.

Becky would be the best choice at moment. She is permitted to work. My mate saw her few days ago. He had the same problems like you which made him couldn't sleep. He was happy now. But she is very careful to take the bookings. A lot questions for you to answer before she could take you, and work on bookings only. She is wearing mask while she is working. You have to get hand washed before and after. She won't let you touch anywhere if not necessarily.

My understanding, two massage tables with curtains in between not meet 1.5m social distance rules. Some places I went only less 1.5m between two tables with curtains. I even could hear the sound of breath from the person next. Don't like. It is not proper treatment rooms. Also not many shops can meet 1 people 4 squire meters rules.

So there are at least two conditions must to meet:
1. software - qualified Remedial Massage Therapist only
2. hardware - the layout inside shops

That's the thing ppl see things in black & white. A WL or AmP is a no no, but a professional physiotherapist or chiropractor isn't? If you want to ban for 1.5m ruling do all professions that have physical contact with high volume of clients.

Example 1 : I caught something visiting a AmP… Ooo we better stay away.
Example 2 : caught something visiting my local physio... Nps you probably caught it beforehand.
Different response cause what WLs/AmPs do isn't classed as a profession.

I know a few women out there that are professional remedial therapists, that work from home that do offer a extra HJ after for more money and cause they've become comfortable with you being a regular client to do that. There are loopholes all around @Promassuer63 you just don't know about them.
 
I got asked to visit an AMP in Freo today
Apparently the girls have a key and work often if they can get customers in :confused:

I got told it is not every qualified Remedial Therapist supposed to be permitted to work now. Only those therapists have jointed their professional associations they can if they want. In this way, they have professional insurance to cover/protect themselves and clients/patients if anything happened during this time. Girls work privately do not join professional associations due to the cost involved less benefits from it.

Well there are ppl out there looking to target these ppl/places as a chance to shut them down for good. Starting to become a hate crime against workers.

Yet they're seeing their health professionals on a regular basis. LoL.

My fear is when the second wave hits, recovered few covid-19 ppl becoming positive after 2mths or so and start the real spread of the virus. It's all on the news but as usual our government will take too long to react, till each state is above 1k infection.

WL/AmP fear of spread? Hah. It'll be the ruby princess scenario but on land with normal ppl out and about unknowingly. How many normal ppl caused the dead of other ppl... hmm? Think you should focus on the real problem.

That case about a infected caretaker in that old peoples home, that killed those oldies..is a normal individual.
