Hi mates,

I got frozen shoulder and sore back few years now. Tried different treatments from physios and chiropractors, and acupunctures, steroid injections but still on and off never cured. Even getting worth now. Especially worsen overnight. Couldn't be able get a good sleep. My mate suggested me to try remedial massages. Went to few shopping centres. Felt a bit better after but only last 2 or 3 days. Can anyone recommend somewhere worth to have a try? Anywhere within 20km from Perth CBD would be good. Thanks in advance.

I think u need to see a great G.P. or have a referral to an orthopaedic surgeon. Diagnostically you should require imaging such as an MRI to determine a diagnosis. i had a wrist operated on 6 months ago and the surgeon said they didnt really determine the diagnosis until the area was open in surgery and it gave the greatest accuracy for diagnosis and thus treatment surgically to perform. Unfortunately the medical and allied health worlds seem determined to 'keep their patients' and not refer onward. I did see Dr Jarrett in Murdoch, I think he does shoulders too. I suggest to get a referral to see him. As you have seen various physios and chiropractors, I think conservatively u have had enough. These professionals are always well trained, have experience and continual training and havent been able to get a result.

Non sexual related but the CBD Wellness centre in The city sorted my shoulder to a manageable point that I can live with.
Physio, chiro and dry needling.
Would highly recommend

I just get surgery on things when needed, the list is reasonbly high over time, shoulder, hernia, wrist and nose, kidney biopsy of the main few. Plus 10 injections of Platelet rich plasma etc. A tooth pulled out, fillings, massages every 13 weeks ish.

Thanks SilverSurfer44.

Yes, you are right. Dr Paul Jarrett in Murdoch is a specialist for hand, wrist, shoulder and elbow. One of my friends saw him for his left elbow last year. He feels a bit improvement now but the pain is still on and off sometimes. Will try to see him asap.

Thanks guys for all the recommendations and suggestions. 🙏
seriously oldman .. try this. look for a THERAPIST in the GREEN box at the top of this page.
And don't be afraid to ring and ask a few what their actual experience has been with your issue .. go with your gut from there
Bowen is not panadol, but it wont accidently screw you over either, like surgery can ..

If you were a race horse you would of been shot by now...

I'm in good working order at the moment. I am overweight though and struggling to get it off. I am determined though and will try eating trim and camping/starvation tactics in cold weather. Naked and afraid show has been an inspiration.

When doctors say things like 'you could try an option like an operation' they mean I think an operation is best.

It is unfortunate some surgery doesn't go to plan but word of mouth is critical for theses expertises.

@SS44 I hope that is 70% or higher dark chocolate, and those lollies are not helping your insulin resistance levels which will only make you store more fat thus all that exercise is all for nothing and them kg's won't disappear anytime soon.

It's three years since I've been on insulin for insulin dependent diabetes mellitus. The problem had been the last month when I were away my pastimes girlfriend kept over cooking and talking. Which I found a bit annoying.

But really surfing in cool water requires bugger all insulin so I found myself too low in mornings and digging into full packs of lollies tasting so incredible. So much so I ate nearly whole packets at times. Better than chocolate the sweetness. Whether it were jelly babies, party mixes and or snakes.

Being a primitive male too. I accidentally asked some bloke at Aldi what the ice cream individual pack of fours or fives were like. He said great. So good. They won't last long, I'll eat them in the car and they will be gone fast before I get home. I'm sorry I spoke to him, I ended up getting a few packs of drumsticks at Aldi for like 4 bucks and snapped them like the bloke described. They didn't last long and Si cheap.

If it wasn't for 3 packs of ice cream drumsticks and 5 packs of lollies 200g the last month and a partime girlfriend overcooking I would 84kg. I was told when I was first diagnosed by doctors and I was 73kg I was a 79kg frame. Truth is I wad a fat kid at 85kg at 17 and I've struggled to live my belly fat. I really need some sit up or abs program. On top of needle program adjusting to all situations. And lollies be particularly tasting probably requiring hypnosis to stop the 'gross over consumption' when bsl low.

Well hopefully you understand that basically the body can use two types of fuel, either carbs/sugars or fats. If you keep supplying carbs/sugars that is what it will and only use for fuel and store the fat for later to use as fuel, but if you keep supplying carbs/sugar it will never use the fat for fuel and merely store it. Have you considered intermittent fasting?
I had a girl years ago do the cooking for me and as she was a vego used to use fake meat, fish etc which is high in soy and it caused me to have itchie feet and hands to a point I couldn't bear it and she couldn't bear me cooking meat due to the smell etc so out the door she went ;)

@ booby if you mean my cookie/lolly jar, it is very empty with said items and is now used for other items.

Thanks mate. I had 1.5hrs session with Hong at XY Wellbeing on Saturday past. I couldn't wait to see Drs and I don't want to take drugs anymore. Headache for few days. So painful from my frozen shoulder, neck and back at nights. Only few hours sleep everyday. Felt really sick. Waiting to do nothing wasn't a good option as well. Then I decided to try remedial massage again as I know it would keep me better for 2-3 days.

Basics on all the reviews I have read from both Google and this Forums regarding Hong's XY massage, I think better to follow up. Happy I made a right decision. I felt so much better already during the session even better today though still feel a bit sore from massage. Feel the improvement already.

It was almost unbearable painful when she was working on my frozen shoulder. No wonder she said few ladies was crying or screaming before. It is what it is. As long as it could help. I have to put up with it. Shot pain is better than long pain. And that pain have already been impacting my quality of life for few years now. Will see her weekly for few sessions. Will have cuppings next week. Never tried. She said cupping could re-functional, detox and loosen up muscles to improve the circulation in that specific area. I know will leave some marks and looks pain but she said not. Have to trust her then. :D

In conclusion for this post :), I would quote a review from Google "Needless to say with all these great reviews, but I can certainly confirm they are correct. Hong is a lovely person and a even better masseuse. Highly recommended ! "

Good news that Hong has your health improving.
I did also try cupping once which was not planned and I went ahead, and still not sure of what exact benefits it gave me.
What I do recall though was trying to explain my black and blue back I had when I got home 😯
