Since not punting for a long time I have spare cash. And to keep myself amused I have been SHOPPING!!! Sneakers and fountain pens amongst other things have been my thing since. Is there anyone here that have an addiction to buying shoes and sneakers like I do? If so I’d live for there to be a thread to discuss the deep culture of sneaker passion. I have over 50 pairs now stored on three different racks.

Let me know...

I have adopted a new hobby which is sneakers. I went on a rampage and accumulated about 70 pairs of them. I found a lot of joy in researching buying new ones and restoring some beauties back to perfection. About $7000 later it just got a little stressful looking at the three tall shoe racks. So I became a true sneaker head and began selling them for a profit and continued buying and selling for a profit.

Now all of my shoes even my personal running shoes but not my 6 pairs of Yeezys are for sale.

My latest cop is a pair of Nikelab Triple Black Vapormax 1.0. They go for over $700 USD new on Stock X. Pics below. nd not my best pair.

Anyone else here share this hobby/interest/obsession? And I mean shoes in general.

And here is one I have sold at least 12 pairs of in various sizes. People love them, but I'm not a huge fan. Tell me what you think of them?

I only just saw this post. I have a few pairs, Hoka's, Asics, Nike's, Reebok's and Adidas. The Hoka's are the best for taking away impact when running/walking.

Mine was always the skate shoes: Globe, Converse, Etnies, éS, Airwalk, DC Shoes and of course, those Puma suedes!

Had to put a price limit on myself otherwise I would buy up the whole bloody shop

Skate shoes are strange, so well structured and hard soled. I have a couple of classic pairs.

As my hobby grew. And a lot if YouTube videos later. I took interest in techniques of taking older shoes and restoring them to mint condition. That’s been a big help in buying low and selling high.

Profits be it humble ones certainly make a hobby a lot more fun.

Sketchers De-lites .... YES
I just sold a pair of Sketchers runners to an athlete. They were superior quality when it came to running. But the brand name has a lot of bad rap and are generally unpopular. That’s a shame, they have some great products.

I think this is to do with how sketchers mimic the style and technology of bigger brands. But they do a fantastic job making great sneakers.
