Are you sure hotels are all closed down? Just ring up and you will find they are still open.

Think you can find a female quote, about dealing with unknown things? Can't really sugar coat it when you talk about the human race for example. " It's for the good for all mankind", then there's " Man up". It's how to world is today. Same with being a coward and told to grow a pair instead of grow a vagina. Same with the Kleenex tissues that are quoted as Man size tissues, is offensive. But if we call them women size tissues, women will take offence due to thinking women need large size tissues for another reason which you all would know. So again to be politically correct and not to offend anyone any more it's now called extra large. I mean why hide it? Call it women size for all we care take the win. Geeesh.

You can try for a hotel in this outbreak but then you'll be going against the rules, just like over east if you book a room you just might have the police wait for you when you check in.
Atm Hotels that are open are especially for the possible infected.

Would like to know the good ones. Then I can visit them when they re-open.
I hope all these parlors clean them well before they re-open... and maybe some done some work to them while they were closed..

There is no rule saying that you cannot book a room. There is no complete lock-down of hotels in WA. Not sure about the east though.

Sure for hotel staff they go to their hotel because of work. But for the general public they book a hotel room because they want privacy and relax. So what has that got do with the police? What has that to do with social distancing rule?

It's because the whole of Australia is under a lockdown atm, the only allowed to dos are work, daily shopping & exercise in your local area. Non-essential businesses are all closed down, that should be hotels also(Shut down or running with a skeleton staff). Seeing police stopping holiday makers shows how serious they are, and stopping ppl who aren't local residents. Warnings are probably issued but might become fines in the future if ppl don't comply like over east.
Unless your job includes travelling around Australia then you have a legit reason for staying in a hotel, corona virus tenants or not. It's also possible those rooms could be contaminated and you won't know.
Can you also trust those room cleaners to fully fumigate rooms used per customer 100%? In this Outbreak? Be lucky if they have surface cleaners that have 70% alcohol cleaners on them. You also run the risk of one of those cleaners infected coughing and sneezing on surfaces they recently cleaned too, due to the last guest.

It's quite interesting about the hotel experience tho, ppl pay money to stay in them for a short time and luv it, here they are staying in a 5 star hotel and hate it. LoL. Guess to much of a good thing is too much.

Just found out that hotels in Perth (3 stars to 5 stars) are still open.Anyone can book a room. You don't need to have a job travelling around the State or Australia to do that.

It is a different story in Indonesia. Heard the news yesterday in Channel News Asia that there is complete shutdown of all hotels.
